Great, quiet, clean stay with steady wifi for remote work, comfortable accommodations, good location, and excellent hosts!

The place was extremely clean, would not know that any pets have ever stayed here. Billie and John were great. We loved sitting by at the fire pit in the evenings and the grill was great to cookout on. I loved seeing the cows. We will definitely stay again.

We were moving from Florida to Tennessee and stayed at this VRBO. The owners were so sweet. The home was perfect for our family and our dogs. It. is in a great location too. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

First off, I have never stayed in a cleaner rental than Billie and John's Farmstead. They make you feel so welcoming with all the little extras they add. Our whole stay there just had that warm relaxing feel. The fenced in area for our dog was a great addition to our stay. He even felt at home! And Billie and John are just the sweetest couple. We will definitely be back to visit. If you're visiting this area, this is the one!

Excellent stay in all regards. We stayed for a week between leaving our rental and moving into our new house. Having our pets stay with us was especially wonderful. Plenty of space for all of us. Comfortable beds, great wifi, and equipped kitchen. Keyless coded entry made check-in super easy. Thank you John and Billie. You were so helpful.

Buddy and I spent weekend fishing the Watauga and stayed here for two nights. It was perfectly located between put in and takeout. It is very clean and comfortable. I also brought the pup and he loved it. Billie is a very gracious host and her place was stocked well with everything we needed. We will be back in a few weeks hopefully. Thank you, Billie!!

My adult son and I stayed at Farmstead. The house was newly renovated. Property was well maintained and the house was spotless. The owners stopped by to make sure we had what we needed but did not intrude on our stay. They were very welcoming. I would highly recommend this property if you want a clean, reasonably priced, quiet house to stay in. It was only a 5 minute drive to downtown Elizabethon.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is immaculate, so well maintained. We were so comfortable. My dogs loved the fenced backyard. Marley met a cow on the other side of the fence. He was definitely suprised by that one. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

The host communicated with us about how to access the house as we were getting in later than expected, The house was the cleanest house I have ever stayed. She and her husband let us know all of the attractions we could enjoy. They were very helpful in guiding us when ice was forming on the roads up the mountain to Beech Mountain. Also, there were supplies in the house if we had forgotten anything. They also had a very nice fire pit surrounded by chairs where our children enjoyed s'mores! We will for sure stay here again!!

Absolutely the cleanest place we've ever stayed! Not a spec of dust anywhere! Amazing! The fenced back yard was perfect for our Mini
Schnauzers. Great location for outdoor adventures. Close to Lake Watauga, Watauga River, Roan Mtn and the Appalachian Trail. The hosts were very nice and attentive as well. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back soon!

The hosts Billie + John are great, they are friendly, caring and respond to any questions or concerns. The property is as described and was a great base for exploring the area. The hosts have thought of everything you could need and provided it ahead of time. We will stay here again when we visit Northeast Tenn.

The hosts were very kind and attentive. We loved all the personal touches and the attention to detail that enhanced the overall experience. The property has a nice little fenced-in yard which is a bonus for all who travel with their fur babies. We recommend this property to anyone visiting the Elizabethton and Tri-Cities area.

Wow, the Farmhouse is top notch! John and Billie are the nicest hosts. They have thought of everything-not just for us humans but for dogs too. I appreciated having a dog run for Titus. I loved hearing the history of the house when talking to John and Billie. We loved everything about this vacation.

This was by far THE BEST home we have ever stayed in. Billie and John go out of their way to make everything so smoothly. There were a TON of extras that we didn’t even realize we needed until they were just there for us to use. They were the sweetest hosts checking in on us and even offering to let our dog out so we could go to town. This review honestly can’t do them justice. We can’t wait to stay there again!!!

This was a lovely property. My family enjoyed front porch sitting and having dinners together at the large dining table. We also enjoyed the back yard dining space, large yard for the kids to run it, and Bon fire for Smores. The host were excellent and we enjoyed meeting both of them. Snacks, coffee and tea were appreciated. Excellent location, home is in country setting, yet close to town.

This was perfect for our weekend getaway with our granddaughters. The house had everything we needed and then some and the hosts were very attentive but still gave us privacy. Best experience I have ever had with a short-term rental.

The owners have done a terrific job with this farmhouse. The farmhouse and the owners exceeded our expectations. We had our small dog with us and she was also well taken care of. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, and they are delightful and wanted to make sure our every need was taken care of, which it already was with their well thought out preparation of the farmhouse. The next time we travel to the area, this will be our first choice of a place to stay.

We came midweek, the weather turned cold, but home was warm and cozy. Immaculately clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. The kitchen had everything we could want or need to fix meals. As weather cleaned, we took our German shepherd down to the river which was in walking distance. This home even had a dog bed for our fur baby. The host had left several brouchures for activites an d events for area. We would love to come back in the fall...the leaves would be spectacular.

The farmhouse is better than pictured on the VRBO website. It has been completely remodeled and is light and airy. John and Billie are good hosts and made us feel very welcome (and our dog!) Everything was very clean and cozy. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels and toiletries thoughtfully provided. The hot showers were much appreciated. The bed was new and comfortable! We both slept well. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed cooking. The kitchen is well supplied with appliances and other utensils. Billie had left us a basket of snacks on the table. The dining room is large with a big table and chairs. My husband used the office and WiFi. I enjoyed the big living room, with comfortable couch and cable TV (big screen!)The fenced in back yard was great for our dog. There is a big parking area and the farmhouse is set on over an acre of land. This is a wonderful country setting, tucked away near a small town. It offers peace and quiet. Yet it is close to town which has several good restaurants--perfect for a get-away from the chaos of the city. Even though our stay was only two nights, it was relaxing and calm and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This is an exceptional value, with very friendly, knowledgeable hosts. We hope to come again. The fire pit was an added bonus, completely stocked with wood. Thanks, Patrick and Elaine Rourke, Titusville, FL
