I would definitely recommend it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Bad

There were 3 police cars in front of the hotel when we arrived. The carpet was so dirty that your feet would stick to it. The lighting in the room was abysmal, it was like staying in a cave.

Disappointing

Nothing.

Room was in very poor condition. Toilet ran constantly. Had to turn water off at the valve. Room smelled like smoke and was dark and dreary. Lighting was poor. The carpet was tattered and threads were shredded in the carpeting. There were missing outlet covers and most outlets were inaccessible due to furniture. There was a mouse trap on the floor. Not a place I'd ever stay again. Very disappointing.

A T getaway

Bathroom fixtures were clean as was the bed sheets. Was provided with additional towels and wash clothes when requested.

Premises around building was dirty and trash all around the back and trash scattered all over parking lot and surrounding grounds. Cigarette butts at rear door and lobby smelled of cigarettes. Room outdated and worn out. When I opened the door where fridge was a cockroach ran out.

Dirty, cheap and a pretty safe location.

They let me park my motorcycle under the front awning

The floors were very dirty, I had to clean the bathroom some before I could use it. Everything was broken in the bathroom and was caulked or taped back together. There were people actively tweaking and using drugs in the parking lot and the Halls

it’s more like low income apartments. smell of smoke and marijuana extremely loud couldn’t sleep for the rooms around us partying it was not at all enjoyable

Everything always is very clean and tidy. Theresa at the front desk is very friendly, professional and accommodating. Housekeeping is awesome. I'm obviously not the only one who loves this hotel, the large parking lot was packed!!

Inexpensive and meet requirements

The bed was comfortable and sleep good !

The refrigerator was kinda noisy and the curtains wouldn't pull completely shut.

Cheap.

The place looks awful, was not very clean. The toilet refused to flush. The furniture was worn out. The hallway smelled badly of cigarette smoke. We waited for nearly half an hour for the working to come to the desk to check us in, I had prepaid the room so didn't want to leave and lose my money.

Staff were very nice although the hotel left much to be desired.

Location to Watauga Lake areas

No breakfast although advertised as having in pics…also no pool in operation though pics advertise there is one. A lot of dogs were there. Was awoken at 5:30 am by their barking and couldn’t get back to sleep.

We would not have stayed if we knew.

Even though the hotel was terrible, the staff was wonderful.

There was no breakfast, even though the website showed a hot breakfast, and for over 2 years, their pool has been closed. When I called to check on the jacuzzi room, they never said a word about no breakfast or the pool being closed. And the photos on their website are so out of date. There were spiders in the room and there were holes patched up in our shower. The floor is also coming up in the jacuzzi room.
