We absolutely loved our stay at Hmong Wooden home. After doing the Ha Giang loop it was a pleasure to be welcomed into this beautiful home. We had a lovely rest, were able to get our washing done, and enjoyed home cooked meals in the guesthouse restaurant. Vibe was a bit of forced relaxation which was well needed, however in the evening guests from surrounding guesthouses joined for a family dinner followed by plenty of rice wine and karaoke. We were told this was a special celebration as it was the first large gathering of the Lunar New Year. I booked a nice short trek through this facility. On leaving we were gifted small handmade crafts. Would return again.
The location of this property is slightly far (30 mins) out of town. Not a negative just something to be mindful of, especially if needing to arrive late at night. We were lucky taxis were available at 3am without pre booking but I’m not sure this would always be the case.

Wonderful owner collected us from Hmong House (we went to the wrong homestay) and biked us to his property. No charge. No fuss. Very hospitable, gentle, kind family. Delicious breakfast. Super clean, fresh homestay. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.

The hosts were super helpful in arranging transport, a trek, and my visit to fansipan. I was there over Tet holiday and we were invited to his mother’s home to have breakfast and participate in Hmong Tet traditions. They arranged for us to see a gong ceremony too and we had a big Tet dinner that night. It was a fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful time, the hosts were very kind and helpful and upgraded us to a twin room. It was super comfy with lovely views.

The hosts were lovely, a truly wonderful stay. One day, when I returned to Sa Pa, I would not even look anywhere else. Help with everything, taxi, motorbike, trekking,
A beautiful lady, mi is so helpful, caring, kind, and interesting to speak to. We learned a lot from her about her and the Hmong people.
No faults

I booked 2 nights and ended up staying for 6. I got there for new year's eve, they gave me an upgrade for free and I stayed in a big and gorgeous room with access to the balcony. Absolutely wonderful place, so cosy, and well kept. The rooms have beautiful hmong decor, beds are super comfy and the bathrooms are very clean and new. On top of that the family running the homestay are the sweetest people I've met, so calm, warm and polite. I fell on my motorbike and Mo was so sweet and attentive, helped a great deal. The food is very nice too and at fair prices. I'll leave the best for last with the location. It's right in the middle of the Muong Hoa Valley rice fields. The view is stunning and riding around the homestay is the most awesome experience. One of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam for sure, I didn't want to leave!
I absolutely loved everything, the only thing I'd say is that without a motorbike it might be tricky to reach as it's about a 30 mins ride from Sa Pa and the road is not always good.

This was our favourite homestay in Vietnam! The hosts are so lovely and welcoming, they let us check in at 4am after our night bus. The room is very spacious, comfortable and clean with an amazing view. The food is well priced and delicious; we enjoyed having dinner with the family every night. We organised everything through them, including a trekking tour and scooter rental. Highly recommend this beautiful homestay!

I don't think words can describe this beautiful place, but let's give it a try ✨ We stayed 3 nights at the Hmong Wooden Home and extended for another night because we loved it so much.
The family booked our bus tickets and taxi so we didn't have to worry about anything when we arrived.(Hanoi to Sapa to Ninh binh). Everything went well and was so convenient for us. The place is about 20-30 minutes from Sapa and is located directly in the rice fields.
The wooden house is so nice and cosy and the view is even better. We had a big cosy room with really comfortable beds, a hot shower and a balcony. They have a kitchen in the main house so you can eat in the house or on the big terrace upstairs. We ate there every day - breakfast and dinner. They have a large menu with vegan/vegetarian options. They take a bit longer to prepare the food, but it's worth it and the food is so fresh and good! Two times we had dinner with the family and they cooked local (vegan) things for us and we drank "happy water" (homemade rice wine in Guava). It was so nice. We felt like family ☺️
They also book trekking tours in the village for you if you want. And they have traditional painting workshops, which is also very nice.
And the best thing is the family. It's a couple who run the homestay and they are so friendly and helpful. They don't speak English, but that wasn't a problem for us. We always used the Google translator. They told us so much about their lives, which we really appreciated. It was the best homestay experience we had in our 8 months travelling around South East Asia. We felt like family all the time and it was like coming home.
So if you are looking for an accommodation in Sapa we can recommend this with all our heart ❤️❤️
Thank you for your hospitality 🙏🏼

Everything:
1. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They booked us the sleeper bus from Hanoi and the taxi for the accommodation for a great price.
2. The accommodation is wonderful, with great views, nice furniture and all the essentials!
3. The hosts organised the activities, we learned the art of Batik and when trekking!

We loved everything there! The staff, hosting, stay, comfort, environment, everything!
The only issue is to get to the property, it's little remote away from city, but there are taxi services and the host can arrange a transport by themselves as well.

We had a wonderful time here.
The family are lovely and great hosts. They kindly upgraded us to a VIP room free of charge. They permitted us to arrive at 3am (from Ha Giang). The room is the best room we have stayed in during 11 months of travel, the view is wonderful.
The food provided by the homestay is good and reasonably priced. There are other places to eat within walking distance and we discovered grocery stores within 1 km.
The location is great, you are staying where others are guided to for the view. You see them outside taking photos.
The waterfall shower was hot and the broadband was good. The room very clean and the bed very comfortable. You can pay an extra 50,000 dng per day (currently) for the A/C, but we didn't need it, the fan provided was sufficient.
We chose to avoid Sa Pa and the constant Mama hard sell, choosing to stay in Su Pan in tranquility, then walk independently (via hiking apps). But if required, the family has an English speaking sister-in-law who is the most reasonably priced guide we found.
Staying here gives you an insight into Hmong people and their culture. The products being made and how they live, everyday was a learning day and we loved it.
The best bit about staying here is the kindness of the whole family. They speak little English, but we became good friends through Google Translate into Vietnamese. If you do stay, do not translate into Hmong, Google doesn't really work. Sinh is really good communicating on Booking.com in English.
This place was so nice, clean, comfortable and quiet, plus the family were so nice, we are sad to be leaving.
They arranged our taxi from and to Sa Pa, plus sorted out our bus tickets to Ha Noi with a good company.
Did I mention they had puppies and kittens, so cute.
