About this cottage rental
We have a cosy 3 bedroom cottage which sleeps up to 6 people.
The cottage has a small fitted kitchen with all of the essentials you’ll need to make your stay feel like a home from home.
There’s is a small bathroom on the ground floor which includes a bath and electric shower.
Next to the kitchen is a large dining room which seats 6 people, and then next to that is the spacious lounge with seating for 6 people.
Bedroom 1 comprises of one king size bed, with a pop-up cot if needed.
Bedroom 2 has two twin beds which can be set up as a super-king size bed (please let us know your preference when booking)
Bedroom 3 contains a bunk bed with two standard single sized mattresses (this is suitable for two adults, but please be aware of the low head height on the top bunk)
Outside at the rear is ample parking for at least 4 cars, plus a west-facing small gated garden (secure for dogs). In the summer months we can also provide a BBQ to enjoy in the evening sun!
We’re happy to welcome pets, but please note there is a small additional charge. We also ask that they’re kept on the ground floor during their stay (we provide a stair gate).
The village of Hasketon is in a civil parish in the East Suffolk District of Suffolk, England. The church, St. Andrews, is one of 38 existing round-tower churches in Suffolk.
We are a 35/40 minute walk into Woodbridge town (less than 10 minute drive). Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town with a mix of shops, restaurants and bars.

We knew the cottage looked nice, but it’s even nicer than the pictures. There was no little touch undone to make our stay more comfortable. We really enjoyed the bread, jam and granola. Thank you so much!

We chose the cottage to celebrate the New Year with a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have made a better choice. The cottage is quite spacious and so beautifully decorated (even more beautiful in real life than the pictures - it really feels like you’re in a movie!), and Andrew and David have been wonderful hosts. We really appreciated the provided info about the cottage and the surroundings, and having some treats inside upon arrival was a lovely touch. The location is great as well - many footpaths are nearby (and if you’re a runner - there are several great circular paths suitable for running in the area). It’s very calm and quiet and the coast is just a short drive away. We loved the stay so much we’re already thinking of coming back:)

Owls Cottage was a perfect cosy Christmas destination.
The cottage was presented beautifully and the owners had gone the extra mile and provided a gorgeous Christmas tree and other festive treats.
The kitchen is well appointed with a standard size oven and microwave so meal preparation was easy.
The beds complete with luxury bedding were super comfortable.
Despite its rural location every type of amenity was on the doorstep.
Woodbridge a pretty little town is less than 10 minutes away.
We found lots of gorgeous places to eat and there is a pub a few steps away from the cottage.
Communication with the owners was very efficient and prompt. I have no doubt if there was an issue it would be resolved quickly.
A note of caution to those over 6ft it is a period property so the doorways are low. That comes with the territory. There is only one bathroom which wasn’t an issue when there was only 2/3 of us staying but could be if it was a full house.
In conclusion I was totally delighted by the house and outside space. Location was perfect.
I would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and David's cottage.
It is tastefully decorated, very well appointed and in a perfect location for visiting nearby spots such as Sutton Hoo, Orford and the Suffolk coast. And having a lovely pub a 5-minute walk away was also a plus!
Communication with the hosts was super quick and friendly and we really appreciated the special touches such as the welcome goodie basket.
Thank you for a great time and hope to be back again!

We needed a nearby place to celebrate a big birthday for a family member. This place was perfect. All amenities and the cottage was so pretty. The log burner was lovely in the evenings so do bring some logs with you. The added bottle of wine and loaf of bread was great and we went to the Turks ahead for our meals, which is very convenient and lovely!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you so much 😊
