Beautiful stay in the woods!

Great value, clean, cozy, and spacious. Looks as though the kitchen was recently refinished. It came decently stocked, and very clean. Vacasa was very easy to coordinate with and better in many respects to the other online short term rental outfits.
Will definitely stay via Vacasa again, and would certainly stay at this property. Only reason for the one star deduction is that the house has some light switch / electrical issues. Lower bathroom for example - the switch just doesnt work and so you need to use a somewhat randomly placed lamp for lighting. We couldnt get other lights to work on the lower level. Minor stuff.

The home was clean, cozy, and the kitchen has been recently redone and is well stocked. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of blankets. There were fans in all the bedrooms. We did not watch any TV or videos, but there are many to choose from. There are beach chairs and the private beach access was great. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher all worked. We would have been more comfortable if the bear proof wire access was inside the house. There was no way to arm it when inside, but the house is protected when we were not in it. Also our son, his wife, and nine week old baby had to leave early because it was too hot upstairs to sleep even with the provided fans. While we appreciated the hair dryer provided in the downstairs bathroom, it kept shutting off while trying to use it.

This was a wonderful home and more than met our expectations. You could tell that this was a family's home and had special touches like games and a multitude of movies. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We had three 20 somethings with us and there was plenty of space for 5 of us and things to do. We loved the easy access to hiking trails, the location, the peacefulness, the porch. The Vacasa staff were helpful and very responsive when we needed help with a repair. We had a fantastic family vacation staying in this property and would love to have the chance to return.

It was a home away from home. I found this beautifully decorated cabin in the woods to be comfy and warm with a the sense that is was very well lived in. The little knick-knacks, the huge library of DVD's and VHS's, the board games, backgammon and alike helped make this vacation rental feel just like being at home. The fact that there were sleds and other snow toys for the kids made this extra enjoyable for the kids. All in all I was very pleased with this rental.

I went up to Tahoe and spent the weekend with 5 other friends in Trailhead Cabin. I was a little concerned about the electric bear fence, but that turned out to be extremely easy to deal with. When we arrived, I thought the outside looked like nothing special, but I was completely won over when I went inside. The place was so cute and cozy with plenty of sleeping space and a beautiful kitchen. We had everything we needed and more. Next time I go up to Lake Tahoe I'll definitely try to book Trailhead again!

Clean, cozy, comfortable, and close to Tahoe City, Treetop adventures, and the beach. Not much more to ask for. The indoor furniture is not brand spanking new, but rather feels just like home.

This place is awesome. Tahoe funky but very comfortable and you can't beat the location for hiking! Miles and miles of trails through Paige Meadows. We enjoyed the private beach access by taking a late evening picnic there. The grounds are well manicured and there are picnic tables and massive (and very clean) grilles for your BBQ. We are looking forward to enjoying a winter season here soon!

Great decision to rent with this company/group. Very nice cabin. Easy to rent, beautiful/quiet/peaceful neighborhood.

We stayed at this property for 6 nights. It is a comfortable house. The kitchen looked like it was recently updated and it had all the essentials. There are two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs, both had hair dryers). There were 5 of us. We spread out our showers because the hot water ran out fast but we adjusted. It might be a problem if there are many more people staying here. There were two TV's, (one upstairs and one downstairs), each with its own DVD/VHS player. There were LOTS of great family movies available for us to watch (that was a nice surprise) & some games to play. There was a washer & dryer & several beach chairs. All in all, a good place to stay.
