About this house rental
Laie Bay views are right outside your window. The Oceans Edge is literally 50 feet away!! Experience island-style living in this beautiful 4-bedroom Hawaiian beach house. Not only is it in the perfect location, but also offers everything you'll need for an amazing stay. Views from almost every room, spacious lanais to relax and dine, and a large jetted tub, are just a few of the home's incredible features!
Through the months of December to April, the whales breach and play outside the windows almost every day. You're even likely to see turtles or the occasional manta ray swim by. There is a calm beautiful white sandy beach with private access (for our homeowner association members and guests) just a 2-minute walk from the front door. You can walk, jog or swim on this mile-long beach and rarely see another person.
We have four king beds, two futon beds and airbeds for our guests.
AMAZING home, amazing location on the ocean, and yet close to everything you'll want to do!!

Very nice property. Shower curtain in studio apt could use replacing. My whole family enjoyed it every much.
My wife and myself would have loved to have a Keric coffee maker.
I will definitely pass the word about this property and would look at renting it again if ever in Hawaii again

The layout of this property was amazing! We had 4 couples and 1 had 3 kids. Everyone had plenty of space to comfortably have some privacy, but we also had a large common area to gather. Only a couple minutes from a grocery store, 5 minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center, and 10 minutes from a great food truck hot spot. The private beach is a little hard to find but we loved it when we found it (turn right from the driveway and there is a dirt alleyway on the left side with stairs at the end). View is absolutely incredible!

We were a group of 16 here for a memorial and to spread my grandparents ashes. This home was perfect and had plenty of room for all of us. We had everything we needed for our week stay. The caretaker was very friendly and responded to text messages right away. I would highly recommend this property.

We actually stayed at Hibiscus Estates since Ocean Cliffs was not available. It was a great house with plenty of space and bathrooms for our group of 13. The location overlooking the ocean couldn’t be beat and was close to everything we wanted to see. The laundry facilities were a plus since we washed towels a lot. Highly recommend.

We loved the location looking out at the water, but were disappointed at the overall condition of the house and particularly the hot tub. The hot tub water and tub were not clean. We had an excessive amount of bugs inside and several of the appliances were not working. We contacted the Caretaker and they did resolve the problems. But we expected a better maintained home.

Overall, we really liked it. Only big issue was the lack of pots made cooking a bit of a problem.

The view from this property is absolutely incredible and has been my favorite “view property” in all the trips I’ve taken to HI. The “view” side of the home stays relatively shady all day but the view more than made up for that. The hot tub was great and the overall cleanliness was good (no cockroaches, no weird smells). But there were quite a few deferred maintenance concerns. One of the dining room chairs had been broken and “fixed” at some point with duct tape. Another of the chairs broke in the same exact spot the other was duct taped with. So clearly these chairs need replacing. The dining table had been so oiled up w wood oil that there were puddles left on the table requiring a lot of wiping down so as not to get our arms and hands greasy. There were a lot of leftover crumbs on the lazy Susan’s where the toasters are stored. Definitely expect to have to purchase quite a few essentials - we had only 2 partial rolls of paper towel and had to buy some, salt and pepper, cooking oil, meat thermometer, plastic wrap, etc all had to be purchased. One of the bedroom rugs was pretty stained up and gross. The bathroom light downstairs was not working (I texted the caretake & a maintenance man was out the next day to fix it, but showed up unannounced and w no heads up from the caretaker. The caretaker did not ever respond or acknowledge my multiple text messages about broken stuff or when we checked out from the property.) also, the wall oven and microwave did not work.

We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and the view from the deck! Our 4 year old decided she did not want to sleep with us and we were pleasantly surprised to find multiple air mattresses that were in great condition. The kitchen was fully stocked with decent pots and pans, plenty of plates, bowls, utensils, etc but we did purchase and leave things like foil, baggies, extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. I would most definitely recommend this property to friends and family! One last thing, we had a large family in this home who showered every day and we did not run out of hot water one time, very impressed!!

We had 12 in our group, from adults to an infant and all fit comfortably in the home. The grocery store, LDS Temple, Polynesian Cultural Center and a variety of food trucks are within a few minutes of the home. The nearest beach was only a few minutes down the road by car and not crowded. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Laie. We definitely enjoyed our time here!
