Within walking distance to the Polynesian Cultural Center and Hukilau Marketplace. By the poolside, there was a hut where they rented out surfing and bodyboarding equipment. We also visited the nearby beach, which was a bonus. However, there was a power outage in the room, so we couldn’t use the escalator. Additionally, there was no Wi-Fi in the room, no lights in the bathroom, no hot water, and the AC was turned off until midnight.

Excellent location for North Shore! This area has the lush, open space beauty of Hawaii. Walk across the parking lot to the Polynesian Cultural Center (your entrance ticket lasts for three days) walk across the street to a calm and beautiful expanse of beach, or enjoy the pool with a waterfall. McDonalds is a parking lot away, but even better a short drive gets you to some of Oahu's best food trucks with fresh garlic shrimp and incredibly rich smoothies. Take a drive out to Ted's bakery and head up the local fresh fruit stands along the way. Lots of nearby beaches, and areas for snorkeling, sea life, etc
Marriott is updated and well designed. We did include the breakfast package, and the food was good. Staff at this location were fantastic! Definitely an aloha spirit here.
Only drawback is we were on the road side of the building. I could hear traffic, but we also could look out over the road and see the ocean.

We live in Ewa Beach and had some friends visiting from out of town. We decided to spend a few days on the North Shore to check out the PCC and a few of the beaches up there. The hotel was great and the on site restaurant was super helpful because there's not a lot around the hotel in the way of dining. The rooms were nice and comfortable but the showers left us rather confused. In what can only be an attempt at a modern aesthetic, the showers don't have a door. No matter what, the bathroom floor will get drenched, which forces you to go through more towels, which is not terribly eco-friendly. Also, the shower heads need to be the removable kind, in my opinion. It's time for all hotels to catch up on that one. So much more convenient when you have little kids. The pool area was great and they have all kinds of gear you can rent. Overall we had a nice time and will be back.

The hotel is located in the best area of the island, and despite being far from Honolulu, you can rent transportation to explore every corner of the beaches and mountains. It’s a 5-minute walk from the Polynesian Cultural Center, offering access to various food truck and restaurant options. One suggestion would be for the hotel to arrange transportation or shuttles for activity tours, so tourists aren’t forced to rent cars or rely on Uber, which can be quite expensive in that area. The beaches are some of the best—miles of great swimming areas, not overcrowded like Waikiki. Safe, peaceful, with excellent service and attention, it’s ideal for families.

Walkable to and from the Polynesian Cultural Center, there is also a fun little beach across the street. Getting anywhere else will be 45-60 minutes.

The hotel is a smaller hotel that has been remodeled. It’s clean and beautiful. My favorite part was the staff. Everyone, specially the front desk staff were friendly, kind and very helpful.
They had the biggest smile and I definitely felt they were happy to help me. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
If you want to experience the island without the hustle and bustle of the city, this is your hotel!

Being next to the PCC was the best! I shopped there almost every day. The staff was friendly and tried to help. Some requests (like plates to use to microwave food) were met with blank stares. You will have to cross the street to get to the beach.

Pros: Beautiful property. Pool and poolside is very nice but a little warm for Hawaii; also deepest part of pool is only 4 1/2 ft. Cafe in lobby was convenient with several food and drink options. Location is amazing; it's right on the highway that circles the island so using the bus is a viable option. Right across the street from a swimable beach with amazing sunrises and with multiple dining options close by.
Cons: Reserved a room with 2 queen beds; confirmed 2 days before arrival; none available on check in. Requested extra pillows the night of arrival; and again the following day; never received them even though we were assured they were "on the way".

I had to attend a surprise bday party in Haleiwa and didn't want to drive home after the party which is 1hr away. Price was decent. Hotel was clean. Friendly staff. Plenty parking. Wish the parking was free. $20/night. Good place to stay if you don't like crowds, like in Waikiki.

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. I give my highest compliments to the staff. All staff that I had crossed paths with were so pleasant and hospitable. The entire hotel was spotless and everything from exterior to interior was nicely updated and fresh. My grandkids loved the pool and the extracurricular activities such as pickle ball and cornhole. I plan on returning in the future.

The swimming pool is great for kids. Rooms are new and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are a few choices for eating nearby at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Really liked the Kiwi Seafood Truck. The hotel is pretty quiet, rooms have decent beds great air conditioning. Went in 2020 and again in 2024. Nice option for those seeking a quieter time in Hawaii yet not terribly far from Waikiki beach area, 34 miles or so. Will stay there again if I go back to Oahu.

Beautiful, comfortable, and clean hotel for our family of four. The washer and dryer room was a bonus for taking care of beach wear. This location made for easy access to North Shore beaches and activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I loved this hotel. It’s very quiet, walked to the private beach. The beach is very nice but be careful because there are lots of rocks when you are swimming. The hotel pool is big and very nice with the fountain running all along. I wished the pool could be deeper than 4”. There is a tennis court to play with your family or friends but have to rent all the brackets & balls. It should have all inclusive for their guests. Parking is $20 per day to park outside but inside the hotel property. Everything is money here 🤔🤔🤔

Great stay. Friendly service. Had activities in the morning (with "Auntie Kele") that were great for kids (and adults) for lei making from tea leaves (our 6 y.o. wore hers for the rest of the trip), bracelet making from bark of palm, hula dance and ukelele lessons (last one was difficult for us all but fun nonetheless). Nice pool area with free cabanas. Also had on site rentals for various things such as boogie/surf boards. Was only able to visit beach across the road for 1 minute but looked beautiful. Not long enough to know whether or not it's swim suitable/snorkel worthy.
Downsides: The restaurant appears to be under renovation ( as early June 2024) so onsite food options were pretty slim, but there was a strip mall with food options within 5 min drive.
We had a queen bed and fold out couch and when folded out there was pretty much no room left in general space.

This is such a great hotel! The beach is right across the street, it’s next door to the Polynesian Cultural Center, it’s near bus stops if you opted not to rent a car, it’s quiet (my husband is a super light sleeper so this is a must for our hotel stays), it has a nice pool, free beach towel rentals, and a super sweet welcome gift. My husband didn’t rent a car and the hotel was kind enough to hold our bags after check-out so we could go to the Toa Luau at Waimea Falls (totally recommend). We took the bus there (about 45 minutes) so we were gone a good chunk of time before picking up our bags and ubering to Waikiki for the rest of our trip. To say the least, the service to hold package was such a relief! I only wish we made this hotel our home base (wasn’t a fan of the vibe in Waikiki). Basically, if you want a laid back vacation, with easy access to some beautiful beaches and attractions, this is your hotel!
