Wonderful property with an amazing view. Close to all the fun of Traverse City but far enough away for a peaceful cabin experience. Owners were friendly and attentive. My dog and family would definitely book here again.

The house is small but comfortable. It's clear the owners put a lot of effort into making it nice. Sitting and watching the lake was so peaceful. When issues came up the owners were very responsive & on top of things. Overall a lovely stay.

My husband and I had the privilege to stay here along with our dog and it is everything that is promised. The cozy lil cottage on Bass Lake is exactly what we needed for an autumn weekend getaway. Our dog loved the property right away and it immediately felt like a home away from home. Less than a half hour from Traverse Cityâs famous wineries and even less time away from downtown TC itself, we were able to enjoy a fun, dog-friendly weekend that is so important to young couples like ourselves, who donât want having a âfur babyâ to prevent you from getting away and enjoying upper Michiganâs wonders in early Fall. I highly recommend this stay, and thank Kathy and Mike again for their hospitality. đžâ¤ď¸

We really enjoyed our stay on Bass Lake. We were able to take the kayaks out a couple or mornings and our dog loved the access to the lake. The cabin and the kitchen are very well stocked with everything you need. We were there just as the leaves are starting to change. I bet it will be really pretty. The location was great. Not too far from Traverse city, sleeping bear dunes, and wine tasting on the peninsulas. Would love to come back.

This cabin is a gem! It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. My husband and I enjoyed listening to the wildlife while drinking our coffee in the morning before heading out to explore the area, kayaking or chilling at the cabin for the day.
We canât wait to come back!

This cabin is located on a beautiful, calm, peaceful lake. The cabin has everything you need & is so warm & welcoming. Itâs in a perfect place to stay to enjoy both the lake & day trips. We enjoyed spending time at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, downtown Traverse City, Fishtown, North Port & Sutton Bay. Fishing & kayaking everyday. Highly recommend this property. The owners are amazing! They treated us like family.

This charming cabin provided us the quiet peaceful escape we were looking for. Tucked away from the business of Traverse City but close enough to explore the the area. The cabin was full of thoughtful touches and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the nightly fires, s'mores and time by the lake to throw rocks, sticks and listen to the birds.

Clean, adorable cottage on Bass Lake. We primarily booked it to relax and fish. The location was perfect, close to many attractions. The only complaint is that the beach and dock are a shared space and that isnât relayed in the description.

We booked the place for 1 week in early August. The cabin is kind of old and there is no AC. There were 4-5 fans in each room and we had to keep them running at all times in order to keep the air circulating. We had to leave halfway through the week because it was so loud.
I guess it is ok for the price and it is pretty close to Traverse City. The manager was very responsive but there was nothing she could do to improve our experience.

The atmosphere of the property was perfect for a week away from a busy family life. The easy access to Traverse City and nearby attractions was great.

We stayed in this cabin with friends and family. The rental was clean when we reached. It had all the amenities squeezed in that short space efficiently. The neighboring rentals owner were also very helpful and gave us extra kayaks to use. No issue checking in or checking out. I would recommend the owner to add additional kayaks to their inventory though.
