Fantastic hotel right next to the old city. Lovely room and bathroom, and the shower was great. Great staff, great breakfast with lots of variety. Feels very safe.
Nothing, I loved everything.

close to old Jerusalem City
The door to close the cabine shower was broken and flooding all the bathroom floor. We said it to the hotel desk that promise to fix next day and the problem never was fixed.

Good breakfast. Rooms nice and clean. Good location. 10 minutes walk to Damascus gate. 15 minute walk to Dome of rock. Overall excellent hotel for exploring Jerusalem.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff as well. The location was ok but it allowed us to have several walk and loose ourselves in the old city.

Breakfast was average for an Israeli breakfast buffet.n
No one told me that I couldn't bring my rental car into a Palestine Neiborhood.
My travel agent didn't even tell me.
I lost 1400 Canadian because I had to cancel 4 of my hotels that I didn't even know were in Palestine.
I blame Bookings.com for not informing me that these hotels cannot be booked if you have a rental car.
I stayed at a Palestine hotel in 2015 that was the second-best hotel that I have stayed at in Israel.

Location: 10/10 . If you love walking, you can simply use google maps to reach many locations in the Old City such as Gethsemane, Mount of Olives, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Western Wall, Temple Mount (Dome of the Rock), City of David. The hotel is also near the Damascus gate where you can easily hop on the light rail to reach other destinations. One of the best advantages of the hotel's location is that is it in the Muslim area - where food is the cheapest compared to the very expensive prices inside the Old City. Some reviews mention that the streets are dogdy and the looks may give a feeling that is unsafe, however, do not be deceived, the location is perfectly safe.
Breakfast: 10/10. I highly commend the very hard working restaurant staff during breakfast, for offering their services. The selection of food is varied and there are options for healthy eating which is amazing while in Israel. For a 9-night stay, I was happy to shed almost 12 lbs due to the healthy greens served in the morning, coupled with walking around the Old City.
Reception Staff: 6/10 While I read in some reviews here that the reception is friendly, unfortunately, I never experienced such. There were no bad experiences however, but trying to greet the reception a good morning/evening does not get any appreciative response. Anyway, perhaps the reception is already old and grumpy and is already used to the familiarity of working in the hotel, forgetting the principles of hospitality towards guests.
Room: 10/10. Spacious and clean including the bathroom. Too spacious that it is quite hard for the heater to distribute warmth during winter season when I stayed. But, no complaints here. Still 10/10
Value: 8/10. The cheapest that I can find for a private room with dedicated bathroom and daily breakfast for a 9-night stay.
Cleanliness: Room are clean, yes. But, the reception area? No. Cleanliness is not only what the eyes can see, but also what you smell. Most of the time, the reception area is reeking of second hand tobacco smoke, most especially the elevator area. Looks like the disgusting smell is emanating from the "conference rooms" near the elevator. During the evening, the tobacco smoke becomes saturated in which unfortunately, the smell travels to the upper floors and can come seeping in the small slits under the doors and contaminate the air in the rooms. Holy Land Hotel, come on, not so holy eh?
Reception staff: Much better wear those masks than not giving a genuine smile towards your guests.
Noise: When non-empathic guests carelessly talk loudly along the corridors without the common sense that there are other guests in the rooms, be ready to be disturbed of your sleep.

The hotel is fairly close to Al Aqsa and Damascus Gate and is situated just outside the old city. If you are fit and well the walk is no problem although perhaps not so convenient for elderly or young children who have mobility issues. The hotel is clean and as you enter the reception area there is a lovely fragrance. Rooms are perfectly adequate. We had a double room which came equipped with a kettle and tea/coffee supplies. The bathroom had a modern shower head, good water pressure and it also had a hair dryer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it had a good selection.

Location, comfort, and cleanness.
Breakfast coffee is instant coffee. I think we should be getting proper coffee for the price we pay (automated coffee machine/or filtered coffee).
Also, no flexibility when it comes to check-in check-out.

the location was superb, very accessible to shops and to public transport
a lot of tourist spots around that is walkable like via dolorosa, gethsemane. my mom and i truly enjoyed. we really loved the breakfast, has massive options/choices and tasty as well. the staff were so polite and efficient. we had some adjustments for our trip and they accommodate it. we appreciate all staff (there were like 3 we interacted) and all were same - polite, professional and helpful. thank you so much
we will def stay in this hotel and recommend to others. the only thing was the lift which is still ok, its small and one was out of order. but rest was truly amazing
none in particular, just maybe give water

Very well located hotel, in front of the old city entrance and 1min walking from the bus stop. Very nice staff (thank you!); clean and big rooms with everything you need (tv, boiler, coffee, bath products).
Quite noisy, at least at the first floor where my room was. Traffic on the street could be crazy and so the children strolling (and shouting) around the hotel.

I have been there for second time already. Really good location, tasty breakfast, comfortable beds and friendly stuff brought me back again.
A bit of mold in the bathroom. In the winter the room is too cold and the aircondition cannot warm the room enough so we were really missing another blankets to put over us or way warmer one blanket. The thin one we had was not really enough :)
