Barbecue the freshly caught fish of the day on the open terrace. Spend happy hours at the fjord with a swim spa and cast your fishing line into the water.
The island of Karmøy, which is famous for its fishing, leaves nothing to be desired. Culture vultures can head to Skudeneshavn, formerly a centre for lobster and herring fishing. The 19th-century town is full of atmosphere and is now one of the best-preserved coastal towns with picturesque wooden houses and cosy narrow streets. Drive to the city of the Vikings, Haugesund.
