Been going up to this area for ice fishing the past 10+ years and the pond behind this house was by far the best place we have fished. The convenience of just walking down from where we stayed was great. The only thing is the dock to the lake dropoff is a little high but doable. Definitely coming back.

Morning coffee on the back porch in a rocking chair while deer munch on apples fallen from the tree and the misty lake in the background. This place is a dream! The kitchen area was great to cook and hang with everyone. The club chairs in the office were perfect space to relax and catch up with my husband while the kids played in the pool hall. I slept like a baby, every bed was so comfortable. We can’t wait to visit again!

My family of 5 had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful home! It was exactly what we wanted and needed! It checked so many boxes for all of us. Warm, cozy, relaxing, a Beautiful kitchen to cook, a pool table for the kids (and us) and an amazing view! It snowed while we were there and we felt like we were in a snow globe! It was just beautiful. Rachel was an incredible host - so responsive, helpful, and gracious. The house was so clean, adorably decorated, so well stocked with basics - all making the trip so easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend and would love to come back!

This is a nice house with a great lay-out for a large group. It felt very spacious and the covered back deck was wonderful for hanging out and getting amazing views of the lake. The owner was very tentative making sure we had everything we needed and resolving a minor check-in issue very quickly. Highly recommend this property.

We are frequent Adirondack visitors and booked Birch Berry Lane for a 4 day weekend in early September for three couples while paddling the Adirondack 90 Mile Canoe Race. The house and location was a great location for us to rest and relax after long days of paddling from Old Forge to Saranac Lake. The house was very clean and had everything our group needed: plenty of room to unwind, a nice game room, a beautiful hot tub, 3 full bathrooms, and a great screened in porch.
We enjoyed the water access, wish we had more time to explore right from the house. The location is within short distances of many great paddling and hiking opportunities.
Communications with the owner and caretaker were easy and self check in was a breeze! The house had everything we needed and would make a great setting with friends or multiple families! We would definitely stay again, summer, fall, or winter. Birch Berry Lane was a memorable stay for us!

The property was just like the pictures! There was attention to detail in every room and the house was well stocked with needed supplies for cooking, cleaning and rec activities. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and having three full bathrooms was definitely a plus! Location was good for many nearby activities as well as privacy. The hot tub was a plus as was the screened in porch!!! We would certainly recommend this beautiful home!

There was plenty of room for our family of 12 to enjoy the open spaces home and outside areas. What a beautiful well thought out home for enjoying a family get together. Will definitely keep this place on our list to rent again.

Wonderful house to spend a week. Where are you feel away from it all but are relatively close to everything. Really warm home that is well decorated but not cluttered. Modern conveniences, great stargazing, attentive host and a beautiful lake to kayak in. We definitely would come back!

Assesiblity to pond and lake kayaking was wonderful. Many trails nearby made memorable experiences for hikers of all ages. Yes, swimming was comfortable this first week of August. The screened porch was large enough for us all on inclement weather days.
