Property is in a good location. Beds were very comfortable. The floors are paper thin and we could hear the people on 2nd story sneeze and cough. They were pretty loud until late so we did have trouble sleeping on two nights. Numerous blinds are broken but the blinds in bathroom are broken in a spot that leaves no privacy if using restroom. We hung up a towel over the blinds to feel comfortable. The sink and shower were not cleaned great as there was hair on both when we arrived. I think overall the cleaning needdd to be much better. There was lipstick on a coffee cup on counter that wiped right off so it wasn’t stained. Food was under kitchen table. I am picky about cleanliness but I think some big things were missed or need to be fixed.

Used rental to visit Salem with teens. It was close enough to walk to attractions. Not plush but served our purpose. Confortable beds.

We had a nice stay with 5 adults. Some minor things included slow drain in the bathroom, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and limited kitchen equipment. There are chickens in the backyard which was unexpected and the fire pit didn’t look as welcoming in the picture.

Check in was at 2:00pm - Arrived at 6:30. Place was dirty - all rooms unmade, dirty dishes, food in refrigerator, garbage, bathroom dirty with dirty towels in hamper. No clean linens or towels anywhere. Called host - had cleaning people come - they came with nothing and spent about 1/2 hour in the apartment. Dirty towels were folded and put back on shelves, dirty sheets and comforters were moved to different rooms and beds made with them, trash was taken out but no liners, refrigerator full and dirty dishes remained. Washer and dryer on property, however sheets and towels were not washed, as there was not enough time nor did they look, smell clean (nor warm from dryer). Cleaners did not speak english so we could not converse with them, and were the folks that were out cleaning the chicken coup. We stayed on property as they cleaned. Missed reservations.
Pictures in the add of the outside is not even close. Large chicken coup in small back yard, which lots of old, items hanging around. Fire pit not there as in photos. Inside look close to pictures.
Reached out to host several times, as we were not comfortable staying due to the uncleanliness and not willing to sleep and wash with dirty linens and towels. He stopped responding after 7:30 when the cleaning people left. And has not responded since.
This was such a disappointment and unprofessional.

The property was as described. Three bedrooms. Lots of room and very close to downtown Salem. Having off street parking was nice.

Lovely location, great space, perfectly described, close to both Salem Willows and Salem. The only problem is that the bathroom tub did not drain, the shower head was difficult to figure our and the sink stopper did not work. Bathroom is an important room when you have five people requiring showers daily. This bathroom was in poor condidtion for that. Otherwise all was fine.

Our stay here fit the needs we had for the weekend. The place is walking distance to Salem (about a 1mile walk to dowtown). The neighborhood was fairly quiet. The chickens in the backyard weren't an issue and they were actually fun to watch in our downtime. The parking area behind the house was sufficient for our vehicle and one other that stayed there. The place was clean and the bedrooms were nice. The only thing is, be aware that this is a 3 unit building and that wouldn't be an issue but there were people that stayed above us (we stayed on 1st floor unit), that were very inconsiderate and came in late and were extremely loud and it sounded like they were breaking into the house. But all in all was a good place to stay whether it was a weekend or a longer stay. If we make it back to Salem we will be looking this place up again. Thank you to the host.

Planned a girls trip with my granddaughter and sister in law, the apartment was close to Salem, nice quiet neighborhood , we felt safe and the apartment was really nice, the only thing that bothered us were the permanent tenants on the 2nd floor we so loud, we heard them walking and going up and down the stairs unloading groceries close to midnight and walking around above us and a lot of bumping then we were woken by 6 with going up and down stairs multiple times, we did not get good sleep because of this, I understand they are permanent residents there but I think they should’ve been more respectful and considerate of the short stay renters, other then that the stay was perfect

The house was exactly what we needed. It was clean and relatively quiet. The chickens in the backyard were a little unusual but they were quiet and not an issue at all. Definitely would stay again.

Unit was very clean and we had a great time

The checkin was the only confusing part as we didnt realize which part of the house to enter and one of the residents was confused why we were driving into the driveway. However, after we got settled in, the downstairs portion of the house we were in was very clean and well furnished for us. We really enjoyed it, and the location for Salem was fantastic. Only a few minutes away from downtown.

The unit is in a shared building that is well furnished and tidy, but has a chicken coop in the backyard. The rooster woke us up early each morning. The unit is an easy walk to downtown Salem.

We stayed here while visiting Salem during the Halloween season. This property was within walking distance of all activities. Very nice, but off the main route.

The property was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable for our group of 5 adults. Parking was a huge benefit. The location was conveniently close enough to the downtown fun but far enough to avoid traffic and loud areas at the end of the evening. The neighborhood is cute, walkable to food, and felt very safe. Leo was also quick to respond to messages and thoughtful to check in and ask if we needed anything. Overall my family had a great time and will be recommending Leo’s place to our friends!
