The overall stay was okay due to the cleanliness and the home being stocked with everything we needed. The home has been or is being remodeled and is comfortable.
However, the outside makes you pause when you pull up. It’s terribly overgrown and gives an uncomfortable feeling. At first, you feel like you are in a bad area but when you get out you see it’s safe. The pictures does not show this. It was so bad that we asked for our money back. It wasn’t refunded so we stayed, and it ended up ok. BUT the outside needs to accurately show in pictures what it looks like. The landscaping needs to be pulled up and redone. And the abandoned building in the back needs a lot of attention to make its residents feel safe.
The inside is clean and comfortable.

Inside, the house is lovely. The online pictures however, are misleading. Certainly not as big or spacious as made to appear.
Outside is unkempt. Almost missed it when looking for it upon arrival.
Upstairs should sleep 6-7 people. Which was the plan, as we were a party of 10. Unfortunately, my children spent the duration of the stay making cots on the floor downstairs and sleeping on the couch because upstairs had no air conditioning, only downstairs AC worked. When contacted about this, a person was sent to inspect the problem. After looking, we simply were told, there's nothing he can do, he can't find the problem. We stayed 3 more days and no more attempts were made to correct the problem. So upstairs remained unlivable. There was also a constant leak from the AC unit leaking onto the floor which constantly had to be cleaned up with towels.
The neighborhood is terrible. Literally every night, sometimes multiple times, were were woken up by police sirens screeching up and down the street. On the 2nd night, after coming back from a day downtown, there was a crackhead passed out on the street corner 100 yards from the house. And no one bothered to mention anywhere that directly across the street from the house is a prison and juvenile detention center. So that was a wonderful thing to walk outside and see everyday.
So, was the owner easy to contact? Yes. Did he do anything substantial to fix the problems? No. Only asked me to do a load of laundry for him before I left

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this property.
This is the second time I booked through vbro. I was impressed with the property. No surprises; the place looked exactly like the photos. The house was very clean and spacious. The four bedrooms provided enough space to give everyone privacy. The location was great- close to all our scheduled activities. If in Hot Springs again and need lodging, I'd definitely booked this property again.

The inside of the house has been newly updated. That is obvious. Although, it was outfitted with the cheapest items on the market.
But the outside was horrible. The front bedroom literally looks out on the jail! An abandoned boarded up house is in the backyard. We saw people walking around it. Four women alone and we were honestly scared.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

The inside of the home was mostly updated and clean. A few bugs were found. Outside of the home is overgrown. We arrived after dark and would love to have some outdoor lights turned on for our arrival, as the area that the house is located on is more of a business district than a neighborhood and was very dark. At first we passed the house up because it looked abandoned with the overgrown bushes and no lights. Location of the house gave a very uneasy vibe and I feel the listing and reviews were not in alignment with what was expected. Beds were very comfortable but did get a little warm in upstairs bedrooms. The host was very responsive and prompt.

The pictures need to be updated. Upon arriving I didn't recognize the house. THE GRASS was tall and vines were along the house that are cut off in the picture. They don't post the whole house. The inside is somewhat nice however there were several problems. Termites were inside and crawling throughout the house. The upstairs air conditioner stoped working and the tach came and fixed it but then it stopped again. The beds upstairs were full of hair and dirt . Upon pulling the covers back there were several strands of hair and blood stains on the sheets. When attempting to change the sheets we noticed dirty and food in the creases of the fifties pillow topped sheets. (THIS WAS UPON THE FIRST NIGHT OF ENTERING THE HOUSE). After informing owner nothing was said or done other than "thank you for telling me"One of the rooms downstairs has a massive hole in the ceiling in the closet. The bathroom upstairs had bugs and ants all over the floor throughout the day. The morning before leaving there was a bug found in the bed. Overall the house seems to be getting remodeled but it definitely wasn't ready and the pictures online must have been edited quite a bit. Will not stay here again

This was a perfect location for 4 girlfriends getting together for the weekend! Our first day was rainy and the house was comfortable for us to hunker down wait out the storm. Nice dining table for game playing! Host was very accessible and responsive. House is not in a residential neighborhood, but we felt safe and it was a short drive to either the historical district or Hamilton Lake. Give it a try!!

We had a fantastic time at this hot springs location. The house was the perfect size for our family, including a guest and our sweet pup. We cooked dinner every night and hung out and played games together. The space was just right. Definitely recommend this home away from home. Close to everything!

The house is nice on the inside and minutes away from everything in Hot Springs. Chris is very responsive to messaging and calling.

The house was spacious and nicely equipped. Beds were comfortable, nice bathrooms, beautiful kitchen. It’s a newer listing so I think they’re still working on finishing touches - there were a few items included on the list that weren’t there yet (e.g. microwave, hot tub). Host was very responsive. Convenient location. In warmer weather it would be a fairly easy walk to the main drag. Would stay here again!

We had a good time during our stay at this rental. The beds were awesome and very comfortable. The owner is quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating.
The shed/parking out back was a little creepy. Needs to have curtains or blinds on the windows especially the upstairs bathroom and kitchen area. A microwave would be helpful. Overall good stay!
