White Anchor Stay
Lovely cosy and clean. Andy is a great host, there if you need help, etc. 10/10 Be back soon
Rooms were home from home. Just how I have mine. The location is great too, as within reach of the old town, bars, restaurants and a delish baker, just a few minutes walk from where stay is to your right and up. A top fresh fish & chips takeaway the best in Hastings, I know I've been eating from them for many years. Just left of property. All in all, I highly recommend a stay at White Anchor . 10/10

Quirky but nice.
Location is brilliant. Room was lovely. Bed was really comfortable. The kitchens and lounge are a great idea if you're in a group, as you can chill out and socialise without that hotel feel.
When booking the room, I noticed that a cheaper room stated "shared bathroom" so I looked at more expensive rooms, assuming that I would have my own bathroom. This was not the case, and I found it misleading that "shared bathroom" wasn't stated on other rooms. Getting up in the night was a little inconvenient compared with other hotels that have en-suites. However, my stay there was very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. And now that I know what to expect, I will definitely be staying again in the future.

Nice,, comportable place
- Powerful water pressure, - Good location (near town centre), - Nice kitchen, - Kind staffs, - Antique furniture in the room - Cozy and lovely living room
- Bed that makes noise every time it moves. - When checking out, it took over 10 minutes because the return key box was full. (In the end, I shouted, called a staff, gave it to her and left). When checking in, it takes more than 10 minutes for the staff to open the door and let me in. (He's working from inside) -Not easy to park the car. Parking in a nearby car park is expensive (24 hours - £10.50), so looking for - parking is free on the street (6pm - 8am). *** - must to be change the title of room: not all rooms have bathrooms. : The room I chose didn't have a 'double room with shared bathroom' so I thought it included a bathroom, but it was also a shared bathroom.

My Daughter described it as a Hostel rather than a Hotel. It’s in The Best Location but SO Cold !!🥶
The Location is The Best !
It was SO Cold and the Heating wasn’t on . I did ask and Andy Apologised and asked if I needed an Extra Duvet etc but the next Day the Heating was off again and it actually nearly put me off having a Bath ! But I did 😬 Bathroom sharing is a bit of an inconvenience but it was ok . However in the Summer months I could imagine it a bit Tricky.

Great experience in a seaside building
very beautiful seaside place, it's just next to Old Town High Street. the hotel is very quiet at night. they provided earplugs but I didn't need them cause the surroundings are peaceful, I had a good sleep. There are 3 spacious shared bathrooms, so don't need to wait at all. The bathrooms contain all necessary facilities and toiletries, very convenient. the bedroom is also very spacious, nice decor and the view is beautiful. the bed is comfortable as well. You can find a nice brunch and nice restaurants in this area with good taste. there's also a full-equipped kitchen and laundry room for lodgers. The staff is very helpful and friendly. any request they'll respond immediately. very good customer service. Overall, it's a very good experience to stay here.

I’m very willing to come back to this hotel again
1. Excellent location, with a sea view right from the window. It's right at the entrance to the old town, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic area, heading to the seaside, or enjoying dining and shopping. The bus stop is just a few steps away. 2. Despite facing the main street, it's very quiet at night, as there isn't much traffic in this small town. 3. The room is clean and well-equipped. Even though it has a shared bathroom, it wasn't an issue because there aren't many rooms, and I didn't run into anyone else using it. The living room and kitchen are also very functional, with various amenities like a microwave, oven, stove, and pots. I don't prefer eating breakfast outside, so I cooked my meals in the kitchen. 4. The host is exceptionally friendly, and the service is excellent. They provided recommendations for restaurants and bars, which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
