About this chalet rental
NEW construction, timber-frame home is located 12 minutes from Sunday River and 5 minutes from historic, downtown Bethel. Quaint Mt. Abram is 2 minutes down the road and offers a small mountain experience.
This new home is nicely appointed with heated concrete floors, custom artisan cabinetry, and carefully curated interior design elements such as the gorgeous exposed beams, modern lighting, and updated finishes throughout. The live-edge dining table and mudroom bench are handcrafted by the owner, who is a skilled architectural woodworker.
This area has something for everyone during every season! Apres ski at one of the many bars and restaurants in and around town and the mountain, or enjoy cocktails and an exceptional view in the new hot tub on the property. For summer and fall guests, there’s mountain biking and hiking trails nearby, a great bike path that runs along town, or grab a cooler and float down the Androscoggin River. You can also do nothing at all and just soak in the gorgeous views from your spot on the deck or in front of the gas fireplace.
Note: Make sure to bring your AWD vehicle. There’s a reason the view is so spectacular! The driveway is steep but worth it. You can see Mt. Washington on clear days! * Full information on parking options and snow removal provided in the welcome package.

We had the pleasure to stay recently at this beautiful home. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub at night, truly amazing. You can’t beat that view!

Beautiful chalet! Natural wood beams throughout, still modern. Very comfortable for 4 couples. Beautiful view from the hot tub. Close to Sunday River.

The house is beautiful, clean and modern. Spacious but also very comfy. Beautiful views. The check in and check out couldn’t have been simpler or easier. We will be back.

The accommodations were new, modern and very comfortable. We've stayed at a fair number of rentals in New England and this was among the best. Owners are very helpful and its clear they've put a lot of time and effort into making this a special place. For skiers, it's very close to Sunday River and Mount Abram which was very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Angie's place is outstanding in every way! Comfortable spaces, well stocked, beautiful view from the deck (and hot tub!) My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay whether playing games in front of the fireplace, cooking in the well appointed kitchen or relaxing in the hot tub. The ski areas are close by as are other amenities, but the location is private. You will not regret staying here regardless of the season, I highly recommend Angie's place.

This house was absolutely perfect! My new husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon around new england. This was the second place we stayed during our trip and it was so hard to leave!! We wanted somewhere central (to see the fall colors in Maine and New Hampshire), near some restaurants, but also to have some space to ourselves. This house had all of that and more! The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you need - including comfortable beds, hot tub (with a view!), and easy to use fireplace. You really couldn't ask for more! I've already shared this listing with my co-workers who are going to new england next fall and told her staying here is a must. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

We had a terrific time at Angie and Chris’ house! The house is so beautiful and so well appointed. We had just about everything we needed in the kitchen to make a nice dinner. The rooms all had high quality bedding, lots of pillows, and comfy beds. There were enough towels to go around. The gas fireplace was cozy when we had a colder night. The hot tub is on the front porch overlooking the valley and at night with all the lights in the house off you get a great view of the stars. There’s a grill and a nice big outdoor table with an umbrella. But the view—we kept talking about what a great view it was and spent a good amount of time just enjoying it. Angie and Chris were great communicators and answered our questions within a few hours. Bethel is a cool little town. Nothing too fancy but there is a grocery, a cafe, a park, some antique store, and a few restaurants. I would agree with the posting that a 4WD or AWD vehicle would be best, especially in the winter, as the gravel driveway was steep. We were in a 2WD sedan and we had to take a second pass at getting up the driveway a few times. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!
