Go on a date to a Fancy Restaurant in Rehoboth or hit the boardwalk. Then come back to the house for a night cap around the fire. Make our home your getaway.

We stayed 4 nights in mid-July, an extended family group of 8. The house is comfortable, extremely roomy, very nicely furnished and decorated; nice views from decks on all three living levels Lavishly equipped, as described in the VRBO website, with both appliances and supplies of all kinds, including a variety of recreational equipment in the garage.
The setting is quiet, with one house next door and a few on the next side-street; a good site for bird-watching. The large but not very busy Cedar Creek Marina is visible a quarter-mile inland. A short half-block away is the shore, where the famous horseshoe crabs are a jaw-dropping sight. For a bathing beach, we drove to nearby Cape Henlopen State Park, 40 minutes away, uncrowded, with beautiful beaches & great nature and history exhibits, including a bike path and other trails. The cost is just $10 per day for a carload of out-of-staters to park. After that, all attractions are free—even the bike loans!
Emily, our host, was extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions both before and during our stay. I had inquired a week ahead (on behalf of game-playing children in our group) whether there might be a card table in addition to the long list of other amenities; there was not, but Emily supplied one (with chairs) in advance of our arrival! The ice-maker was unfortunately on the fritz; a bag of ice was in the freezer to get us started, and we found ice trays in the kitchen.

Wonderful property and host! The house has everything you could possible need and is comfortable for all ages. The beach, a one minute drive down the road was excellent and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

We rented this house for two families that were playing lacrosse at the DE Turf. Great location 15-17 min from the field. The house is gorgeous, new and well stocked. The kitchen/living room is on the third floor. Open layout, great view of the sunset. The kitchen had everything you could think of for preparing meals. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and plush bedding. The bedrooms and bathrooms are XL. The upper deck is another great spot. Unfortunately, We were only there for 3 nights and gone a good bit. Emily the owner was easy to communicate with and hassle free check in and check out. The only negative is the beach is 1-2 miles away. Bikes were provided but we were there in the 95 degree heat of July and it was buggy. I’m sure other months are better. We did drive down to Rehoboth which was a nice. Traffic is usually busy during the summer when driving to Rehoboth. The house is as advertised. Great times.

We stayed at this property for our last lacrosse tournament and I wish I had done this for the past three years!
Home was super easy to access from the turf fields - and from Coastal DE Airport.
We were super thankful for the communication provided before, during, and after our stay.
The house was so well stocked with the "little" things you need - but don't want to purchase - a zip lock bag for a sandwich, mayo, ketchup, COFFEE!!!! We really appreciated all the extra touches to make the weekend go smoothly.
Home is clean and up to date - the AC worked great and beds were comfortable.
If you need a place to stay I highly recommend staying at this property - Thank you Emily!!!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this hidden gem but I’ll give it a shot so that those looking at reviews can feel confident in selecting this home for their getaway.
Let’s start with the house itself. It’s wonderfully appointed and supremely comfortable. We had a total of nine people with us for a weekend and not once did we feel like we were stepping on each other. The deck spaces are furnished and allow for a nap or conversation or simply listening to the birds. The 4th floor outdoor space offers a hot tub and a gas fire pit. This is the place to watch a sunset and roast marshmallows. If you’re inclined there bikes, board games , outdoor games, smart televisions and a wet bar.
I also have to bring attention to the owner, she is FANTASTIC!! I felt like I was staying at a resort, she was exceptional with her communication and level of attentiveness. Available at a moment’s notice when you needed help but not intrusive. Perfect.
The owner provided lots of valuable information regarding the house itself as well as the surrounding area.
I would not hesitate to stay here again, in fact I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

This was the perfect location and house to host 3 parents and 3 Lacrosse players for a 3 day weekend tournament. House was amazing and very convenient to DE Turf fields and Milford for some great food options. Even got to sneak in a couple of hours at the beach in between games but I recommend taking the short drive or bike ride to the sandier part of the beach to swim and walk.

I decided to make the Sweetlax tournament a bit of a vacation for our family by renting a VRBO on the beach. I was a little worried because I wasn’t entirely sure of the location and didn’t want to be driving too far for early morning games. It could not have been more perfect. After hearing about the house and the extra room, my parents jumped into the car and met us out there. It turned out to be three nights of great family memories for my sons with his grand parents and myself with my parents. The location was less than 20 minutes to the field and so easy to get to. The beach was full of horse show crabs which my younger son and Dad enjoyed spending every morning and evening walking along. They also went to the nature center one morning and really enjoyed it. We were also a relatively short drive to Rehoboth Beach. Saturday the games ended early and the team all met down there for some swimming and dinner. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The decorating is beautiful. You will feel like you are living in a magazine. One thing I particularly enjoyed was the linens. The sheets and bed spread were glorious. The house also had everything we needed and plenty of everything. Emily was very responsive and absolutely lovely to interact with. We are grateful to Emily for opening her home up and providing us with a lifetime of memories.
