The Nook can be found on a quiet residential side street on the outskirts of Bridlington, a thriving harbour town on the stunning North Yorkshire coast. These two-bedroomed holiday home, with a sunny conservatory, is ideal for couples and families looking for a relaxing break away.
Step inside an find a well-planned kitchen with plenty of cupboard space for your holiday essentials and long runs of work top for the preparation of delicious home cooked evening meals. The living and dining room is bright and airy with French doors leading through to a spacious conservatory with additional seating and doors out to the garden. Deep filled sofas are ideally placed for an evening in with an electric fire that provides warmth for the cooler months. The master bedroom offers a kingsize bed and pretty garden views, whilst the second offers a double bedroom. With soft furnishings and deep filled mattresses these bedrooms are perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The enclosed garden sits to the rear of The Nook and benefits from the afternoon sun.
Take a short walk from this holiday home and find a selection of convenience stores and takeaways or pack a picnic and head to the peach that can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot. Bridlington has two golden beaches and a working harbour famed for its lobster and crab boats. There is a long Victorian Promenade, land train and a plethora of tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and amusement arcades. Bridlington Old Town is a 10-minute walk away, which dates back to the 12th century. Here you can find a café, restaurants, pubs, antique shops and art and craft shops, which were built in the 14th and 15th centuries and have cobbled pavements.
Explore Bridlington Priory, book tickets for a night of entertainment at Bridlington Spa or amble round Bridlington Animal Park. Sewerby Hall, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are close by and within an hour you can be exploring the rugged beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the historic walled city of York and learning about Captain James Cook in Whitby. This area offers miles of walking and cycling opportunities and there are a number of great golf courses too, so don’t forget your clubs!
