About this cottage rental
Cozy Ohana, located on a beautiful 5 acre working avocado farm.
Picture perfect ocean views away from the hustle and bustle of Kona, but close enough to have a great day in town to return home to your quiet piece of paradise. Your 300 sq ft lanai has an unobstructed view of Kona coast.
Fully stocked kitchen with induction stovetop and ocean views from both windows.
Large bedroom with beautiful views of the Mauka side. Features king size bed with high quality bedding for your comfort after a full day exploring the island. Small nook with bunkbeds is a fun area for the kids to crash.
Living room has comfortable furniture to relax and enjoy the TV if you desire. Additional bedding for the Murphy bed provided upon request. Free dedicated WIFI (not shared with main house).
Our home runs on catchment, which means we rely on rain for our water. It goes through 3 filters so tap water is perfectly fine to drink!
We are located between Kona and the volcano, situated at 2200 feet elevation which is great to escape the heat. No more driving all day, you will be there in half the time.
Feel free to walk our fully fenced 5 acres and enjoy that we have over 70 avocado trees, lychee, papayas, oranges, Tahitian limes, variegated lemons, apples and bananas! We also have 9 sheep, 2 goats, 1 dog, 2 cats, 8 chickens, and 1 rooster that you are welcome to pet and feed (please ask for feed).
Beaches within 30 minutes driving distance include Green and Black Sand beaches, Two Step Beach, and Pebble Beach. And we are just a short drive to Captain Cook with all its coffee shops, cafes and restaurants, fruit stands, antique shops, and more.
We do live on the property with our Siberian Husky and Tuxedo cat. And there will always be other family members and friends around. The Ohana is close to the main house so you will see us but you DO have privacy and sound insulation from main house. Please keep in mind that we are a working farm. While it is quiet and peaceful here vast majority of the time, you may occasionally hear our farm vehicle or other equipment.
This is your vacation! Let us make this a trip to remember.
We would love to help with any additional activities during your stay.
We have snorkel equipment and beach toys available for your use.
Jordan is a professional chef and would be happy to prepare meals for you if you preorder (additional charges apply). And Natasha is a certified Pilates instructor and would be happy to offer private Pilates sessions (additional charges apply).
Let us help make this an unforgettable getaway.

A special location to relax with spectacular sunset and clear skies to see the stars. Convenient location if going to both Hilo and Kona. Natasha and Jordan were great hosts and made the stay enjoyable.

We absolutely loved staying at the Dragon Farm Healing Ranch! The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Natasha and Jordan are extremely gracious and thoughtful hosts. They've put a lot of care and attention to detail into providing all the comforts away from home in a tranquil setting. We were able to truly relax and enjoy the island's natural surroundings. We were also very pleased with the openness of the space featuring a a wide open kitchen that connects to an outdoor deck. This is truly a special getaway destination!

Nice hosts. Great view. Good value. Waking up and drinking coffee on the lanai can not be beat. Would’ve loved to take them up on their offer for a catered meal if we had had the time. I believe listing had an iron/board but there was not an iron after asking, which was a problem for us. We also could not find trash bags. They could use better floor mats in the shower area. Small issues in the grand scheme and all 4 of us had the best time. 5 stars

Peaceful location. Except when they drive by the house at 6:30 with side by side.
No washer and dryer which was quite disappointing as that was one of the reasons we booked this place.
House got kinda cool at night and had no heat.

Cute cottage on a small farm with beautiful views. Hosts were great!

The hosts of this property were communicative, friendly, helpful, and talented (one is a chef and the other is a Pilates instructor that offers their services if desired).
My 5 year old daughter loves the farm animals and avocado trees on the property. The hosts left us some fresh flowers and fruit from the farm to welcome us!
It is within a short drive in either direction of good beaches.
This area is cooler and damper than being right on the coast so beware that it is cool at night here. Dress accordingly. The hosts made it comfy with extra blankets and hot water for showers.
They had beach gear to borrow, family/kids games, some toys, etc.
We would highly recommend staying here and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The views from the house are fantastic. Peaceful location. But close enough to see the sites.

The coqui frogs sing like birds
Something a jungle world
2,200 feet above the ocean’s shore
From below the eagle soars
With a silence seldom heard
Depending on nature’s time
Drops avocados perhaps a lime
You live today in yesterday’s
Being neighbors in varied ways
Dragonfly Healing Farm
Fills prescriptions with its charm
It is an enchanting property that warms the heart!

Natasha and Jordan’s place did not disappoint and was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful yet a good jumping off point for the island’s activities.

This was a great base to start all of our adventures. To be honest we were not at the house that much, because we were always exploring and hanging out at the various beaches. In 9 days I put on 1160 miles on our rental vehicle and we never made it back to the house before dark. The location made it nice to explore both directions (North to Kona and the islands best swimming beaches and south to explore the volcano, green sand beach, and black sand beach. We loved how quiet the place was and hearing all the wildlife (frogs) at night. We also saw wild pigs and turkeys on a few different occasions on the drive to the house. Definitely recommend if you are up for a good place to base all your adventures out of.

Natasha & Jordan, thank you for making my vacay so memorable! I had so much fun learning about your farm/fruits, sampling all of Jordan's delicious treats (best creme brulee ever!), and meeting Luna/Domino. The rental house was a perfect sojourn, very clean, with all amenities, plus no mosquitoes! Only thing I regret is: I couldn't stay longer. I wish you both the best of luck in your enterprising new venture, you guys will rock it! p.s. the clicker is with the "friend", I took a photo of it (lol!) it was windy though so it may have fallen off. You have my deets, looking forward to hearing from you. Much Mahalo!

The Dragonfly Tranquility Farm was the perfect location. The view is incredible and the goats are charming. While we didn’t take them up on Jordan is a chef and very willing to make you a great meal. Natasha and Jordan are great hosts. Thank you for letting us share your home

My husband and I stayed here for a week. It was a very nice home and the perfect size for us. The owner replied quickly to any questions we had.

We had great stay at Natasha's place. The view is incredible and we enjoyed watching sunsets from the large lanai. Our daughter visited with the animals and we got to see some of the fruit that grows on the property. The space is comfortable and well equipped and central to many attractions on the Kona side of the island. We highly recommend staying here!

Just love the property, the place was clean, the bird chirps at night, but it’s not a bird it’s a frog, LOL, the house is comfortable and it’s got a nice deck and toys to use and I think Natasha and Jordan are awesome, wish I could’ve stayed longer, but hopefully if money works out I will be back next year
