Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Important Winter Advisory:
Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads. If you have any questions about your rental, feel free to reach out to us for further details.

We had a lovely time. This house is beautiful and very well kept. It was clean and had plenty of space for our entire group to have plenty of room to themselves while also having great common rooms for us all to enjoy together time. The location is great. We walked to dinners, to the gondola, and loved shopping around main st. Definitely would recommend!

Great location for our multi-generational family of 9 which included 4 preschoolers. House is close to downtown, across the street from Carter Park and very close to the Railroad Park and Ice Arena. We booked the property based on 4bdrms located on the main and upper levels. We were delighted to find two additional bedrooms and a small full bathroom in the laundry room located on the lower level. Also, kitchen equipment and dinner ware allowed us to eat in every meal during our week long stay. Plenty of room for preschoolers to play and adults to relax.

Loved this house for Colorado summer! Location was ideal - we walked everywhere - shops, restaurants, grocery store, gondola, and there is a huge playground and hiking trails across the street. Kids used the hot tub in the backyard daily. No AC but didn’t need it in July. House was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Next trip to Breck, we will definitely stay here again!

Lovely, well equipped home, conveniently located. The check in instructions were not accurate. The property manager did not respond to my inquiries.

Had a lovely Christmas stay. House had plenty space for our group of 11. Location was perfect to be able to walk into town anytime. There are stairs two houses away that takes you directly down to Main Street. We checked our skis at the base because the walk to the lift from the house is exhausting with boots and skis. Communication with property manager was difficult. Emails went unanswered. My questions were not emergencies; however, it would have been nice to get replies.
