This charming two-story home is set back from the road in a quiet and private woodland setting. It enjoys immediate access to the 30 miles of paved paths that wind throughout Kiawah, allowing you to quickly reach the beach, Night Heron Park, The Nest, The Sanctuary, and many other Kiawah gems. Pop in the car and within minutes enjoy the restaurants, shopping, grocery, and entertainment events at Freshfields Village (three miles), the island's five golf courses, Bohicket Marina, and much more!
Beach Access Boardwalk #12 is nearby so choose one of two routes to the beach, the quiet neighborhood street, or jump on the shaded beach access bike path that abuts the backyard. Once at the beach access boardwalk, you’ll find bike racks, a convenient outdoor shower and foot washing station, built-in boardwalk benches, and a breathtaking transition from a tunnel of live oaks opening up into a beautiful section of beach void of condos or townhomes.
Back at the house, the first floor is a natural space for gathering, whether in the lofty living room with a 75-inch TV - great for watching movies or sporting events, or the family room (with a 55-inch TV and board games). These two living spaces are on opposite sides of the house allowing for movie night and game night to co-exist simultaneously.
You'll have ample space for family meals with two separate full-sized eating areas that flank the well-equipped kitchen. Eat at the kitchen table, or in the dining room with its after-dinner coffee bar (complete with drip and Keurig coffee makers). There is even more seating at the breakfast bar.
Each balmy day here begins on the lovely screened porch - a wonderful setting for coffee, a newspaper, and breakfast around the patio table. Returning home from the beach in the afternoons, you'll have a gas grill and plenty of privacy with a large yard that creates a quiet buffer with frequent visits from deer and amazing Kiawah birds.
In the evenings, take your pick of one bedroom on the first floor and four more upstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms is a primary suite offering its own TV, a private bathroom, and a balcony with forest views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this beautiful home last fall and couldn't wait to come back for another visit in May. My husband and I and our 2 grown children and their kids and my furbaby vacation in Kiawah several times a year. We were very fortunate to find this home last fall. It was perfect. There are 2 separate living rooms with TVs - one for the adults and the other for the kids. Plenty of space. Comfortable beds. A well stocked kitchen and a fabulous coffee bar! It's apparent that the owners want their guests to have a wondful, carefree vacation. Light switches and some cabinets labeled. Charging stations galore...in the bedrooms, etc. The screened in porch is a favorite hangout with a cup of coffee in the morning - as well as after dinner. We grilled out one evening and the grill seemed brand new. The location is just perfect for us. Bike riding is one of our favorite things to do, and there are several paths close by. The beach is a really short bike ride....and also walkable. We also spend a lot of time at Night Heron Park - which is another quick bike ride. It's not easy to find pet friendly homes, and you can tell that these owners are dog lovers. It means a lot to us for us to be able to bring our furbaby with us. She is a 14 year old lab mix that is nearing her end....and we don't go anywhere without her. Vacasa is extremely communicative and accommodating. Their local team including Linda and Misty couldn't have been more helpful. If you needed to reach them, you could. Honestly, I can't say enough wonderful things about this home. Book it... you won't regret it!

Beware of booking through VRBO, who was just the go-between with Vacasa, another property management company, who then doubled our booking/service fees without providing any additional service. Biggest waste of $$$!! While we booked through VRBO, they immediately passed us off to Vacasa, which made it confusing in terms of who to contact with questions about the property. The several questions I asked prior to our stay received no response, except for one on the last day of our stay.

Fantastic to have plenty of space for family to coexist for an off-season getaway. Easy and beatiful 7 minute walk to the beach....fast 2 minutes by bike!
Enjoyed movies on the enormous TV and had fun with family board games. The coffee bar was a real treat!
Centrally located to golf and dining. So peaceful being surrounded by nature and wildlife. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning!! We made so many wonderful family memories.

This home was perfect for our large family getaway! The house itself was well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was super clean and had a great layout. The easy walk to the beach was just under 10 minutes and the area of beach was so beautiful and private. Loved this place so much!

The house was really wonderful in all ways. The decor was welcoming and charming throughout the house. The spacious common areas were really helpful for our family — it meant we could be together though not crowded. There were so many thoughtful and inviting touches in the house, including the coffee station. All the bedrooms were very comfortable. The deck was very pleasant for morning and afternoon relaxation. We had a great stay at this beautiful home on gorgeous Kiawah island! Vacasa was great to work with throughout the booking process and our stay.
