The living areas include a kitchen/diner housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dining seating and a sitting room with TV and woodburner. Wifi. The bedrooms include three doubles serviced by a shower room. To the outside is ample off-road parking and a lawned garden. Within 4.3 miles or less there is a shop and pub. This property accepts two well-behaved pets but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, starter pack for woodburner, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Choose Ballaghboy Cottage for an idyllic base in County Roscommon. We have 2 x full sets of golf clubs and 2 x trollies that are free to use. They are for the use of competent golfers only please and only on golf courses. Note: THIS PROPERTY ONLY ACCEPTS SATURDAY CHECK-IN DATES.

Region: The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

Town: The small and lively town of Boyle sits on the border between County Roscommon and County Sligo. Steeped in history, Boyle has had a varied past and features a beautifully preserved 12th century abbey, as well as the grand King House, a restored Georgian mansion in the centre of the town. Lough Key lies just outside Boyle with a superb wooded adventure centre, as well as pretty footpaths around the lakes, which take in the ruins of Rockingham House. Nearby Carrick-on-Shannon, a lovely riverside town, is internationally regarded as an angler's paradise and offers no less than four large fishing lakes within a 6 mile radius. With a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town, this is an excellent choice for an Irish holiday.
