Welcome to Lake Escape’s Double Play! This fully renovated lakefront home on Lake Norman is the perfect spot for you to bring your family and friends to experience the beauty and adventure of the lake while having all of the comforts and conveniences of a fully stocked home. In fact, you’ll be getting 2 fully stocked homes in one! It's one house when you want the space or two houses when you want the privacy. All you have to do is open or close the door separating the spaces.

Each level features 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen and twin XL bed. The bedrooms all feature high end mattresses, soft linens and cozy comforters.

Each level also has its own full bathroom with stall showers and all of the fluffy towels you need; a fully stocked kitchen including all of the baking, prepping, cooking, serving pieces you could want; a dining area to sit and enjoy a meal or play a quick game of checkers; a family room with a gas fireplace; and a large enclosed porch offering the perfect spot to enjoy the spectacular lake view while having a meal or relaxing. With two levels, this home is perfect for groups or families who want to maintain their privacy. You’ll always be just an easy interior set of stairs apart.

This lakefront home not only offers stunning views and comfortable living spaces, but also has a fully equipped game room for entertainment. The detached garage has been converted into a gameroom with an array of games including ping pong, air hockey, pop a shot and Pacman and Ridge Racer arcade games. Enjoy a friendly competition with your family and friends or simply relax and watch TV. The game room is the perfect spot for indoor entertainment when you need a break from the outdoors.

Double Play also offers guests the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The private dock allows for easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. Bring your own boat or rent one and head out on the lake from your own backyard.

Guests can explore the lake using the provided kayaks and stand up paddleboards, with life vests also provided for safety. The large lawn is perfect for outdoor games and picnics, and the lounge area provides the perfect setting to sit and relax while enjoying the beautiful lake views and watching your family play on the life-size Chess board. The fire pit with complimentary firewood provides a cozy and inviting gathering spot for roasting marshmallows, telling stories and making memories with friends and family.?unitId

* Security deposit of $750 will be reserved 3 days prior to arrival (see House Rules below).
* Maximum Overnight Occupancy for Double Play is 10 guests.
* Maximum Daytime Occupancy for Double Play is 15 guests.
* All Lake Escape homes are dog-friendly and allow up to 3 dogs ($150 per pet fee applies) Cats are not permitted.
* Unlimited, Complimentary firewood is provided.
* Complimentary propane is provided for use with the outdoor grill.
* Complimentary kayaks, standup paddleboards and lifevests are provided.
* All of our homes feature private docks. Please check with us to confirm depth at specific homes as lake levels change seasonally.

I went with a group of guys for a bachelor party and we had an AWESOME time!! The house was so spacious and being able to jump in the lake right from the dock was so relaxing and fun. We played a bunch of games in the game room and the backyard when we weren't on the lake. The grill on the deck gave a great scenery of some of the lake and just felt relaxing. The house was super close to groceries and pretty much anything else we needed was maybe 5 mins away. We rented a boat for 2 days and it was cool to dock it right where we stayed so we could get on anytime we wanted. Plenty of places to sleep and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend Double Play to anyone!!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Our hosts thought of everything you could possibly need to make this house perfect. Charging cables, labeled light switches, a fully stocked kitchen, coffee supplies, water toys, life jackets, fire pit and firewood, games….I don’t think they forgot anything! We rented a pontoon boat for our stay and it was great to be able to walk out to the dock and hop on. Plenty of places to sit and read, for morning coffee, dinners. The only negative-and it’s not even a negative-is that we had to share the backyard with a flock of geese. They moved away when we came out but left lots of “presents” to maneuver around. Honestly even that wasn’t bad. Ample parking for our 3 cars. Oh and the game room!!!! Have I mentioned how much we loved this place? Will definitely be back next year and for a full week this time. The welcome guide provided before our arrival gave us everything we needed to know. Thanks Jessica for providing such a wonderful experience.

We loved the place from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The house had great curb appeal and everything was so well labeled, explained, and organized (even down to having dog bowls and baggies)!!! Loved the decor and the many game amenities on the property. Having the Alexas and Google show throughout was so helpful and quite the added bonus to make the stay feel like home. It’s a great neighborhood—quiet and little traffic—that we enjoyed for daily walks; perfect circle road for walking the dogs. We loved it so much we already started looking to stay there again during warmer months!! HIGHLY recommend any property by these owners!

We had a wonderful weekend on the lake. This rental is the best rental we have ever stayed. The house is clean and so much to do from game room to outdoor fun with kayaks and paddle boards. Loved this place and we will definately be back.

This is our 2nd year renting from lake escape and Jess and her brother, they are absolutely great people and their vacation homes are top notch. Double play was an amazing place and our family had the best time and made memories. Can't wait till next year and try another home they have and make more memories.
