About this house rental

If you are looking for luxury and high spec for your next holiday then this 3 storey villa is the one for you. It has been totally renovated and modernized to an extremely high standard. Its ideal for multiple families wishing to holiday together but having their own space. The lower floor has 2 large bedrooms(one large bed and one twin beds), contemporary shower room and small kitchenette/lounge. Ground floor has one bedroom and one contemporary stunning bathroom, and the 1st floor offers 2 bedrooms and one contemporary bathroom. The house has a fully fitted modern kitchen and relaxing modern lounge/diner. The villa has air conditioning throughout and benefits from WIFI. For those very hot days the villa offers IPTV (SKY TV) channels which includes sports, films and many more channels. The outside space has just been renovated to include an extended lounge area by the pool, a lovely bar, a new shower, outside lighting around the pool, plus many more features. There is a lovely covered seating area next to the fully equipped kitchen where you can enjoy Al Fresco Dining from the BBQ. 3 bedrooms have a balcony where you can enjoy spectacular views of the marina houses or the partial sea view. In the summer months you can watch the beautiful sunset from these rooms. The villa is in a fantastic position in-between the Marina and The Old Town so perfect for those wishing to explore both. There is a supermarket and couple of bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away and the walk to the Marina and Old Town is only 10-12 minutes. The beautiful sandy Fisherman's Beach is just before you reach the Old Town where there is an abundance of restaurants, shops and bars. The Marina has bars and restaurants and also offers day trips on boats including Dolphin watching, exploring stunning caves and many many more.

Super villa in a great location for the marina and old town. The villa is in a quiet area, but has all facilities required and plenty of space to spread out for our party of eight. Communication beforehand and during our stay, with the Property Manager, was superb - very helpful. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at the villa for a week in August. Sonja was great she was in regular contact from booking the villa and during our stay. She was easily contactable throughout our stay couldn’t do enough to help and was always quick to respond. She also arranged for Roger to collect us from and drop us back off at the airport, lovely guy. The villa has everything mentioned in the write up and plenty of space for our group of 8. My only small concern having 2 young children was that there were no locks on the 2 gates to the villa. We made full use of the pool, bbq and the views from all of the balcony’s are great. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the villa to the marina and 5 minute taxi ride to the old town. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again in the future.

Our large family had a fantastic stay at Villa Sunshine Blues this summer. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 4 children, incredible communication from start to finish, clean and beautifully finished interior and a lovely pool and barbecue area. Located between the marina and old town with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as the supermarket. For me the thing of note is how helpful Sonja and Caitlin were with anything we needed. Any question we had was answered quickly and the couple of tiny issues were sorted straight away with no hassle. Sonja even helped arrange and confirm transfers for us a few days after checking out of the villa. Really fantastic team to deal with!

The property is clean and spacious. We had a problem where the bathroom ceiling fell down, on arrival we were told it was safe. We didnt expect to have to deal with builders and clean up after them on holiday. But we did have phone contact with the manager. The villa is not child friendly because of the number of stairs. The ones to the downstairs apartment couldn't be used they were so steep and narrow. There is one broken sun parasol, so no shelter at the pool. We wouldn't recommend it for families with young children.

We had a fantastic stay in June/July. The property is to very high standard and very beautiful. The host can be contacted very easily and very quick to respond to any queries or general questions. It was a fantastic break away and would definitely stay again. Property was clean and well presented and the pool was cleaned before during and after our stay.

The Villa is very modern, with all the facilities needed to make it a lovely place for a group or family. On 3 levels it gives you individual living space with a lovely pool and sun beds to relax in. The Marina is a lovely spot to enjoy boat rides, restaurants and a grocery store. The little tourist train can be caught there which takes you to the old town, or hop on the next tourist train to travel around Albufeira. We were a group of 8 friends and had an amazing time.

We could not of asked for a better base for our trip to the algarve, beautiful villa & Sonja was so helpful after booking / during our stay. Really ideal location, not much in an Uber to get around. We enjoyed the pool & bar and of course the Portuguese sunshine! Thankyou for a great stay.

We have had a good holidays on this house. Communications with the owner directly and we have been very well but we have also had some incidents. The owner let us go into the house early before 16:00, (thank you for that) but we hadn't water until 19:00. (An incident with general pipe on the street) Next day, a commercial person want to show the house with us inside. I spoke with the owner and we decided no, please. Next day, Tiles on the swimming pool area were down, we ask the owner to check it. ( she said that constructor is going to go to the house and check it) Next day, three person go inside the swimming pool area without saying nothing. We ask the owner and she said that the swimming needs maintenance. Next day came the constructor ( also without saying at what time, appeared on the swimming pool area) Two days later, constructor came again, (also without say something and repair the tiles) Summarizing, good house, good owner but privacy is not ok, because people go inside the swimming pool area without say something. Imaging go to the swimming pool area and find someone on this area. For us it was very bad surprise, but is the only point that is not ok. This information I shared with the owner, but never sent to me at what time exactly someone is going to go to the house. This is an improvement point for this house.

The villa is beautiful has everything you could possibly need. Walking distance to the marina but we found that walking into the town was too much in the heat probably at least a 20 minute walk. We got an uber most of the time which always came within a couple of minutes and were relatively cheap. We had a few issues with water supply with the villa with the water being turned off through the day but it was outside of their hands and Sonja did update us on the situation as much as she could. We had a few other issues with the pool and shower which were sorted out straight away Sonja was very helpful and always responded promptly. We had a lovely stay.

Had a wonderful stay, children absolutely loved the pool. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Liked the separate downstairs area with own small kitchen for one of the families. Just had to watch the stairs with the little ones, possible safety gate would have helped. It was a hilly area however you can’t really get away from that anywhere else as the town itself is up and down. Did not spoil our holiday in anyway. Would easily return again.

Property was as described and very clean well equipped and well presented. Nice furniture modern kitchen and bathrooms. Management team were very helpful and responsive and let us check out late on our last day which made a big difference to the end of our holiday as we had a late flight home. The immediate area was quiet and pleasant and the Marina with shops and bars was only 5 minutes walk. Albufeira Old Town was a bit further but still walkable. We found the Old Town disappointing as it was a bit tacky and very busy but that’s our personal choice .

I would like to say that the Villa itself has excellent facilities especially the pool area. As we arrived at 9pm and had not had any communication with the property manager and she was not there to greet us I had to contact her to find out how to enter the villa together with a number of other practical issues. Whilst there is an information booklet it has some practical points missing, e.g. location of the bins, location of the nearest shop together with it's opening hours. The main concern with the villa is the temperature of the hot water in that it is scolding hot and in my opinion there is an accident waiting to happen. As I said the overall facilities are excellent however I feel that the hilly aspect of the location needs to be highlighted in the description as one of our party was in a wheelchair and it was extremely difficult.

As a larger party we arrived in the Algarve at different times, we were allowed early access to the villa which helped a lot. The villa was spacious with all essential equipment for a home from home experience. The rooms were all spaced apart nicely for privacy and were very comfortable. We would 100% recommend Villa Sunshine Blues to any large family. Sonja the property manager was very friendly and always available, contact mid holiday to check we were all ok and wanted for nothing. The taxi service run by Roger was very good, we used him a few times always on time and super friendly. We want to say thank you for a super holiday. Will definitely consider staying with you again. VRBO were also an easy company to book through.

Gorgeous villa, sparkling. Great amenities - from BBQ to pool to multiple bathrooms on each floor - very equipped. Sonja was excellent at co-ordinating our arrival and extras we needed eg, two cot beds and two high chairs. In one bedroom the aircon wasn't working fully and she instantly got it rectified. If you are coming with under 2s - we had a 2.5yo and two crawlers at 15months... the stairs and the lack of flat, safe outdoor space was a touch difficult to manage. There's plenty of outdoor space and different seating areas around the property as it's on a corner, which is great, but we couldn't let the girls crawl free anywhere comfortably outside. If your kids are 3+, less of a problem. 20min (ish) to walk to old town with a double buggy. Marina just a few minutes walk. Would I stay there again if visiting Albufeira - yes. But we'd leave the little ones at home!
