About this house rental
Incredible views, 1 min to Haystack Rock, 5 bedroom, very private. Cannon Beach, the most popular beach on the Oregon Coast.
The views are breathtaking. You will likely never find anyone - local resident or tourist, that has seen views like these! This is truly a rare gem.
You can watch the puffins learn to fly off of Haystack Rock, the bald eagles circling, and even the whales breaching the surface, all from your bed! Of course you can see all this from the living and dining rooms as well.
This is perfect for couples, large families, or multiple families. We've hosted Thanksgivings here with 12+ adults and 6+ kids and there is plenty of room for everyone!
1 house away from beach access - a 1-minute walk!
The house was updated in 2019 with fresh paint, beautiful hardwood, gorgeous bathrooms and more.
Tolovana and downtown are an easy walking distance, but because there is no off street parking on this street, it is very quiet and private. You can go from the hustle and bustle of downtown to almost complete seclusion in a matter of minutes.
There is a private forest on the deck side of the house (so you have complete privacy when you sit around the fire watching the ocean and the puffins), woods behind it, and the house on the third side is occupied about 2 weeks per year. It is a very private area.
The house is fully furnished with everything you could need, from games to towels to a well stocked kitchen - stocked by a woman who loves to cook lots of meals from scratch!
There are incredible views from literally every room, and you can hear the ocean from every bedroom! 2 Separate master suites with updated marble bathrooms and amazing ocean views. The large deck has plenty of seating to enjoy the beautiful beach while you use the gas grille, or sit by the gas fire table.
The open floor plan living room/dining room/kitchen has room for everyone, and the views are stunning no matter where you are. The gas fireplace below the huge TV make this a true great room.
Master suite 1 (queen bed) is on the top floor with the best views in the entire house, including ocean views from shower!
Master suite 2 (king bed) is on off the main floor and has Haystack views, incredible double shower, and a small ocean view balcony with seating for 2.
Bedroom 3 (queen bed) is on a middle half-floor and has ocean views, as well as views of Ecola point.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 are on the bottom floor and side by side with ocean views as well. One room has a Cal King and the other has double bunks.
We allow dogs on the main floors and have a zip line outside for dogs that want to soak up the sun on their own.
We provide excellent wifi and cable TV.
Due to Cannon Beach’s short term rental policy, we have minimum stay requirements (generally 10-night min stay in summer [Jun-Sept], 5 the remainder of the year) and advertised pricing is based on minimum stays, but we're flexible - see if we can accommodate your needs on shorter stays (though at higher rates). We're happy to extend larger discounts for longer stays as well. We can also accommodate shorter stays during peak seasons but at higher rates, when shorter stays are otherwise unavailable. If you’re needing a stay shorter than 10-nights in the summer or 5-nights the rest of the year, send us an emailwith details and we will send you a personalized quote. **Please do not send a booking request for stays less than our required minimums - message with your request and details.

This is a wonderful house for a multi-generational family vacation (grandparents, children and spouses and grandchildren). It feels very private, has excellent beach access and is an easy walk into town and/or easy driving/parking access. The house is super clean, well- equipped and has very comfortable gathering spaces, as well as a lovely large deck. There are ocean views everywhere and the sound of the waves is incredibly soothing. Diana is a superlative hostess. She made our 2-week stay very easy and was super-responsive to questions as they came up. If we could give more that 5 stars we would!

Amazing property with lots of space, perfect location and well stocked. Lots of beach chairs, etc. Especially loved the balcony and fire table. Super kid friendly too! My kids loved the swing set and dollhouse! (Dollhouse can be tucked away in closet for those who don’t want)

Wonderful host. Great communication.
Great for our family of 5 (adult kids) but would also work for other families, group of friends.
Views from all rooms and location can’t be beat. Easy walk to town.

We loved waking up to a view of Haystack Rock every morning. And it was only steps to the beach. The owner is VERY easy to communicate with and very flexible. When I asked if she had a particular kitchen utensil, she offered to pay me back if I bought one and left it in the kitchen. The only concern in the amount of stairs/flights. This home would not work for a person who has difficulty climbing stairs. Otherwise, its a perfect home/location!
