This was not a “luxury” apartment by any means and the sea view was a small glimpse from the balcony. Towels were hard and rough, the bedding was torn and was too small for the bed. There were items left in the closet by a previous tenant which makes me question the cleanliness. Minimal kitchen utensils. I would not recommend.

The property was clean and comfortable. The property caretaker worked with us and was very pleasant. The only problem was communication with the host. We still had no check in information at noon. If they solve this problem by either using the the VRBO app or sending an e-mail, I would rate the property very favorably.

DO NOT BIOK THIS PROPERTY. Arrived in Ireland at 7.00am on Saturday 25th May for our long weekend with my wifes 80 year old father. No check in instructions or car parking arrangements. No contact from owner at all until 10.15 am when she CANCELLED our booking leaving us stuck in Ireland with no accomodation. The best she could offer was our money would be back in upto 15 days so no money either to souce alternative accomodation.

Not as nice as we expected.

Poor communication - We booked several weeks in advance and like I normally do I included a brief message about us and our trip. Our booking was accepted, but there was no communication at all from our host. 2-3 days before check in I messaged the host letting them know of our arrival plans and asking for check in instructions and there was no response. I attempted to contact them again the day before, but no response. The night before check in I called VRBO with my concerns - they made an attempt to contact the property owner with no luck. Finally 2AM the night before check in we received the very detailed, but complicated check in instructions. Upon arrival we found that the photos posted were similar to the apartment but was clearly not the same unit. The kitchen was not equipped as pictured (no nespresso machine) and the property was about 2km from the waterfront despite having a photo of waterfront with “view from property”. There was a full garbage can in one of the bathrooms, limited paper supplies - if we had stayed more then 2 days we would have run out of TP. There was no small soaps and toiletries- there was what seemed to be other people’s left over full sized shampoos and soaps. The property itself is very nice and with a little more effort the place could be a great place to stay. The listing should be updated to be more accurate, a good cleaning and added toiletries and paper products, and much more clear and better communication from the owner.
