About this house rental
Summary:
A Classic Renovated Brick Home located in Manifold Heights, with the charm of a 60’s brick-veneer era home and the convenience of a renovated kitchen, bathroom and fresh lick of paint throughout. Close proximity to Geelong CBD, just a 10 min drive from Geelong CBD, 5 min stroll to local eateries and 2 min drive to local shops. This Retro Retreat offers all you need for a delightful stay whilst you explore or work in Geelong and it’s surrounds, whether it be for a week or a few months.
The Space:
Approaching this classic brick home you have a few steps up to the one level house, entering through the front door, you have the lounge to the left and main bedroom to the right. Through the double sliding doors of the lounge, you have the gas fireplace nestled into a burnt orange mantel, an air conditioner, Smart TV with Free WIFI Available, two 2-seater couches and a chair, where your family can stay cosy and relax.
Off the lounge is the freshly renovated kitchen and dining area, fit with a round four-seater wooden dining table with two additional stools at the breakfast bar. The white kitchen comprises of all the appliances, utensils, crockery and cookware you need to serve your family a delicious home cooked meal, including a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a Espressotoria piccolo coffee machine.
Leading off to the right of the dining room, into the hallway you have the back door which opens to a little undercover area with the laundry off to the side, hosting a washer. Before stepping down into the spacious yard, fit with a clothesline and two generous grassy areas, one closed off by a low fence, suitable for a smaller dog, as the main yard is open down the side.
Returning to the hallway you have the updated separate toilet followed by the main bathroom both having a bright new touch with Victorian style tiles, the bathroom consists of a shower, vanity and wooden chest of draws for some additional bench space.
Bordering the bathroom is Bedroom three, fit with a queen bed, bedside tables, lamp and wooden dressing table with stool, having light walls and shiny timber flooring, like all three bedrooms.
Following the hallway along to the front, next up you have Bedroom two which comprises of a queen bed, chest of draws, oil heater and built in robe.
Finally, is the Main bedroom offering two wooden framed beds, being a queen and king single, complimented by the deep wooden bedside table and dressing table. This concludes the home returning back to the main entry.
There is no Garage Access, however there is parking off street in the long driveway which fits 2-3 cars and free on street parking. Open to Pets pending approval.
Guest Access
Keys will be placed in a secure key safe located at the property before your arrival. 48 hours prior to your check-in details will be sent out with specific details on the location of the key safe and code. You will not need to come to our office to collect. There is NO access to the garage at this property, however there is accouple off street car spaces in the driveway.
The Neighbourhood
The property is located at the end St Catherine's Drive in the suburb of Highton. You will be within 5 mins access to the Geelong Ring Rd and 10 min drive to local supermarkets and cafes at either the Highton Village or Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre. The CBD is a 15-20 min drive depending on traffic.
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible at the end of the street, about a 5 min walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.
