After reading some horrible reviews on here, I am glad to report that my experience was really nice and I thought the staff was always friendly and helpful. The Ofelia Suite terrace is awesome!

Wonderful little place! Nice balcony and the place is located in the heart of a lot of amazing restaurants, shops, bakeries and coffee shops. And super friendly staff! Thanks so much!

BE AWARE OF THE SCAM!
We booked a Deluxe Suite” with a terrace from the pictures on Expedia the property posted and instead we got a normal room with a tiny balcony. We had no soap on the arrival and we didn’t get any cleaning service for 3 days. The phone wasn’t working and the door on the bathroom was broken.
When we arrived the guy at the front desk didn’t even looked at us, he was such an arrogant impolite person. Mostly of the time nobody was at the front desk and if one of the two was there didn’t even say a word to the guest.
Also another couple we met was absolutely frustrated with the lack of service and the level of arrogance from the staff.
It was such a terrible experience, I’m filing a complaint to Expedia and Amex.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PROPERTY, there are way better options in Mexico City for the same price and you’ll get a smile days and nights and a quality service and especially they don’t scam you with fake advertising.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with tons of restaurants within 5 minutes walking, and in the heart of Polanco. The staff are very helpful, and the rooms are really nice.

Love the property! Nice and modern with an organic flare. The manager was very attentive and compliant. The room was very clean, and nice.
I would come back for sure.

Great location, quiet street and good restaurants around.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the bed. It was incredibly comfortable, with soft bedding sheets that provided a luxurious feel.
I appreciated having a refrigerator in the room, and it was great to find that it actually maintained the water cold.
The spaciousness of the room was another positive aspect.
While my room had a functioning air conditioner that worked well, I was disappointed to hear that some of my friends were assigned rooms without air conditioning. This could be a significant issue, especially in warmer climates or during the summer months. It's concerning that there was no indication on the website about the possibility of some rooms lacking this essential amenity.
On the bright side, the hotel's location was wonderful. Being close to great stores and restaurants adds a lot of convenience and opportunities for exploration during a stay.
Overall, while there were some drawbacks such as the inconsistency in air conditioning availability and the lack of transparency regarding room assignments on the website, the positives like the comfortable bed and convenient location made for an enjoyable stay. It's worth noting, though, that the hotel management may want to address the issue of room amenities and make sure that guests are fully informed before booking.

I usually stay at the Presidente Intercontinental when I travel to Mexico on business but because I booked my trip last minute the cost per night was ridiculous as were all the other business traveler hotels. This was completely different, small property on a quiet and safe street. Nice cafe next door, friendly and accommodating manager/owner.. not all rooms have desks but they offered to bring one to my room… a lot of restaurants within walking distance.. I thought it was a nice change and will be back…

Amazing location. Great place! My room had no AC so it was a bit warm at night

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a clean, safe, quiet but not boring part of town. It's within a short walk to parks and so many restaurants. The best part is the coffee shop right next to the hotel, we went everyday for coffee and pastries. The staff was lovely and helpful. They let us check in early and leave our bags with security after we had to check out but before our flight. It's also beautifully designed. The only slightly negative thing to say is the pillows were lumpy and poly-filled as opposed to down-filled. I really really loved this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The property itself is lovely. Great location and very nice to have the coffee shop right near.

My experience at Casa Ofelia in Jan 2023 was quite disappointing overall. My flight to CDMX was cancelled 2 days prior to my departure and I had to arrive a day later, so I wanted to reach out and let the hotel know about my late arrival. However both Expedia and myself had a very hard time getting in touch with people in charge. The hotel manager never picked up the phone, and the front desk staff barely spoke any English and was unable to assist. This made me very nervous about my approval. Luckily when I got to the hotel the front desk staff was able to check me in at least. However my suite was way smaller than what’s shown in the pictures. And it wasn’t even a suite - no separate living/bedroom area and it’s smaller than most of the hotel “rooms” I’ve stayed in. One of the shower towels had a huge dark stain on it. And during my stay the hotel manager finally responded to me and offered to refund my first night charge - which I thought was a nice gesture. However it’s now been one whole month since the manager first promised me that and after numerous follow-ups I still haven’t got the refund. The manager kept making excuses and blaming their system saying the refund process takes a long time. At this point I’ve just accepted that my refund would never come. I guess the only good things I’ve enjoyed with this property were the location and the cafe. The hotel itself was quite a let-down.

Casa Ofelia is not a full service hotel. A security guard is at the front desk. Twice I had to wait several minutes to get into the building because the security guard was not present. The doors to the unit are electronic and the staff could have done a better job explaining how they work. The Casa is located in a good neighborhood and there are several good places to eat nearby.

The location was great as it being walking distance to the mall. But there was no AC, a little warm and uncomfortable. The sheets smelled very strong of perfume or detergent, i got a headache from it. No parking available.

Great location and wonderful space. Vey walkable and safe.

Rather than saying it is a hotel, an airbnb is more appropriate. There is no front desk to check in, only a 24-hour security guard who speaks only Spanish.
Due to weather reasons, the flight was canceled. I checked in on the second day of the reservation and I left a message to the property manager beforehand. Even so, upon arrival, the entire building was without water and electricity, and the door battery was dead, making it impossible to open the door. The next day, they encountered a circuit problem in the building and the Wi-Fi did not work.
The room did not have the air conditioner, so I contacted the property manager and she sent a heater. At the same time, the property manager cannot respond to guest needs in a timely manner like the hotel front desk.
Everything els is good like location.
