Beds were comfortable and it was clean

Place was great overall, only thing I would say is not meant for 6 adults, the sofa bed was small and didn’t have proper bedding/pillows although host did bring a pillow and sheets when requested

The location was great. It was close to everything - groceries, restaurants ,and parks. And in a quiet neighbourhood.
It was clean and tidy.
There was a nice backyard for our dog and morning coffee. We enjoyed our stay

Basement suite was great. Perfect for what we needed.
People living upstair probably just walking around but was loud in the basement suite starting at 6am - 11pm.
Ad said onsite parking. Owner description said parking available. Realized this the day before arriving when email came in about the arrival day. Owner as going to fix that. He was very helpful and kind to allow me to park right flush with garage. Jones Ave had a bunch of construction going on so my husband had to park on a street a block away. Thankfully the rain had stopped when we got there.
Place was clean, had everything we needed. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond.

This was in a great location in North Vancouver. Easy access to freeways and close to attractions.

My only complaint has been that the ceiling is low enough to hear the upstairs neighbors but otherwise the host has been super responsive and had all the essentials needed for our week long trip. If you’re planning on hiking in North Vancouver, this is a great nearby place to stay!

Clean well taken care of lower unit. It's not perfect or premium but it is good enough as a landing pad to do North Van things. If you are tall (6'5" or over) expect to duck a lot. Big backyard in a quiet neighbourhood. Would stay again.

Home was tidy. Others have mentioned the upstairs occupants being noisy. I would say it is normal upstairs noise, but one would expect maybe more sound proofing between floors. Overall great stay

The manager was not very timely with communication. I had to reach out 2 days prior to our check in to get the information. Although he worked hard sending pictures etc of how to check in - both groups had trouble. Also - the walkway to the property is cobbled stones! Not very practical for lugging suitcases up it. Lastly, we were there just overnight - 6 of us. They had only left a partial roll of toilet paper. We searched everywhere and could not find more. I would not recommend this property.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days for my birthday, the location was very clean perfect for nice little getaway. Very professional host. Only small issue was the people upstairs were quite loud late at night but overall would definitely book this place again if I were to come back.

Do not stay here. It is a dark, humid, low ceilings and an uninviting place. They make you enter from the back alley way when you can very easily enter from the front side of the house. There is parking for two cars in the back of the house but instead they tell you to park on the street at the end of the alley way. The people upstairs are loud and stomp around and talk very loud late at night and very early morning which makes it impossible to enjoy any peace. The walls are so thin, you could hear the snoring through the walls. The suite is humid, the heating does not heat where you have to use two stand alone heaters, the air conditioning was put on and when we returned it was freezing outside, we had to wait more than an hour for it to be turned off. The unit is very dark and the couch is very uncomfortable. The beds are hard as rock and the furniture is substandard. Then they wanted to have someone come and fix the heating while we were there. It was so uncomfortable, we left a day early.

The place was fine. The only issue is you car hear ever step from the second floor unit early in the morning.
Would be nice a motion light by the living. I accidentally trip on the stairs because it was too dark.

Cons:
-Very musty odour, my clothes and bags even smell from the musty odor in the home. You can only open one window to air it out as there are no screens on the windows except one.
-The people living upstairs are extremely loud to all hours of the night, one night it was 4am! Sounded like they had people over almost every night. No loud music just very loud talking and stomping, is what it sounded like.
-You also have no control over temperature so it was extremely cold.
Pros:
-The owner is quick to respond to messages and wasn’t intrusive.
-Great Location!
I didn’t love the property, but it served our purpose. We were gone from morning until night so we didn’t spend much time there. Basically showering and sleeping.

This unit worked well for us and our dog loved the fenced yard. Spacious, smells nice, plenty of hot water for showers, kitchen had most of what we needed, dishes, pans, etc. (didn't find a cutting board or pizza cutter though, so we used the kitchen scissors instead.) We weren't allowed to use the fireplace, but there were space heaters if it got chilly. You can hear people upstairs, though it wasn't excessive, just what you would normally expect if you were staying downstairs in anyone's home. You have to park on a side street and enter through the back alley, through the back fence and back yard, but there was plenty of parking and also space by the fence to temporarily park for loading/unloading. The owner sent very helpful, detailed info so we knew where to go. Not really disabled-friendly, due to the relatively large steps and gravel entry. Both the yard and entry were very well maintained. Nice neighborhood too. Would recommend.

This property worked awesome for me and my family visit in Vancouver

A clean, spacious place to stay, that we booked for a couple of nights while attending a Provincial sports team tryout near by.
Unfortunately, we had the same experience another reviewer had with noise. The upstairs occupants were up by 5 am our first morning, and loud and rowdy until well after 4 am the second night. Made it challenging to sleep, which seems to be a pattern here.

Property Manager was responsive, room was clean, lots of room for 4 people. The only problem was very disrespectful people in the upstairs suite carrying on until 5:00am both days. Would have given a much higher overall rating other than the noise.
