Escape to your own private oasis when you book this newly renovated home, nestled on 34 acres of an old maple syrup farm. Lovingly restored for the 2023-2024 season, this splendid home enjoys a prime and quiet dead-end location with a short drive to Lincoln Peak (five minutes) or Mount Ellen (two minutes) or you can take the shuttle right at the top of the drive. After a day on the trails, return to the warmth of your cabin and relax in the hot tub under the stars. A true year-round retreat for those seeking adventure, the cabin's prime location grants easy access to skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fly fishing, golfing, horseback riding, river tubing, and hiking. Out the front door, you can enjoy the sounds and the cool water of Slyde Brook. The Catamount Trail is directly accessible from the eastern side of the property which welcomes mountain bikers, cross-country skiers, and snowshoers. In summer, admire amazing sunsets over Mount Ellen with a panoramic view of surrounding peaks in one of the property's many open fields. Whether you’re pulling half days on the mountain or in the office, on a family vacation, or skiing with old friends, this homey yet luxurious cabin provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Step inside to discover a cozy well-appointed living space complete with modern amenities to ensure your comfort. Enjoy a brand new Viking chef’s kitchen, fully stocked with everything the home cook could desire including new Le Creuset and All-Clad pots and pans. Unwind in either of the two living spaces that feature brand new OLED smart TVs, Wi-Fi, and plenty of apres books and board games for all ages. There's also a new boot room with a boot dryer and ski racks, and snow shoes are available for added convenience.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Beware of local wildlife (bears, coyotes, etc).
The property is a retired maple farm and has some remaining tubes and barbed wire fencing.
All outbuildings (sugar house, three-car garage, three empty barns, and trailer) are not guest accessible.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Security camera details: Ring Cameras are set up on deck and front door of home with flood lights. You can turn these off on either labeled light switch if the lights are too bright while sleeping. Otherwise please leave them on. They light the outdoors for your approach when entering and exiting the house especially in winter months when it is dark early, and the driveway can get icy.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
