While you are staying at the Inn, be sure to check out Olympic Discovery Trail that is located just steps away from cabooses. The route spans around 135 miles between Port Townsend and La Push on the Pacific Coast. As of 2021, 90 miles of the trail have been developed into a complete path. Besides the rail cars, your kids will have a blast exploring the Olympic Game Farm, a drive-through wildlife exhibit, where animals come right up to your vehicle! The Inn is equidistant from the Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend to the East and Port Angeles, gateway to the Olympic National Park and Pacific Coast beaches, to the West. Take a short ferry ride from Port Angeles and visit a foreign country- Canada, there’s so much to see and do!
