The house is attractive overall and in a nice area. I like the post-and-beam design.
The mattresses are way too cheap and springy, and the pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable. The house is extremely creaky with no insulation… you can hear everything. Not one door inside the house would close (incl bathrooms), and given the A/Cs are located outside the bedrooms, you need to keep those doors open anyway. The walls are beat up and missing things (nails/screws with nothing hanging on them), w/ a lot of paint damage which didn’t feel particularly inviting. The closet doors were extremely cheap and flimsy and falling off. The refrigerator/freezer door took a concerted effort to keep closed, and in fact the freezer was cracked open when we arrived. Two main issues with the house - #1. The water is absolutely awful. If you are going to invite and charge ppl to stay at a similar cost of a hotel, the water needs to be treated. It absolutely reeks of iron, and the showers and washing machine were badly stained. Washing face/brushing teeth was legitimately stressful. #2 the floors were absolutely filthy. They looked and felt like they’d been swept but not mopped in eons. I mopped the floors three times (on my bday) and then they felt cleaner for the remainder of the trip. Maybe they weren’t mopped b/c I brought my dog? I mopped the floor so my WHITE dog (who is cleaner than most people) didn’t turn gray.
Just needs some TLC + better cleaning.. otherwise it’s a cute place.

Nice cabin in the woods. Very well kept. Short walk to beach. Short drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia!

Nice location, very quiet, half hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbour. The house was clean and had all you need for a Lobster feast there at the house. Our only complaint would be the beds were hard and not that comfy...other than that, it was a nice little place to spend my wifes birthday with our family.

I loved this sweet cabin. Location was about 30 min away from Acadia/Bar Harbor. The cabin was great and was able to accommodate all 6 of us. My boys loved the outdoor shower. Kitchen was fully stocked. We would stay here again for sure.
