About this house rental
Welcome to our luxury waterfront retreat on the Hood Canal! Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature with abundant outdoor spaces right on the water. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, our 1200 sq ft. property has it all, with hot tub, firepit, yard, water toys and an incredible arcade room and projector setup. Newly renovated in November 2024 with updated kitchen, bathroom, and luxury designer touches. Prepare to create unforgettable memories in this slice of paradise!

Spend the day out on the water, make dinner while watching the waves, then spend the night watching movies on our projector or singing karaoke and playing games in the arcade. Retreat to cozy king-sized beds with premium hotel-quality linens.
The property is off of a private drive and is away from the highway: unlike many other homes in the area you will have ample parking and no highway noise.

We are directly on the water and offer water toys including a kayak, 2-person canoe, paddleboard, and floaties in the summer, along with life jackets for adults and children.
-- OUTDOOR AMENITIES --
Enjoy the water views from two spacious decks (upper and lower level of house), complete with a grill and cozy seating, or enjoy our lawn for picnics and lawn games. We have a firepit right on the beach for your enjoyment. Our hot tub is available year-round and offers water views. Please note quiet hours for outdoor spaces.
--ARCADE / MEDIA LOUNGE / PROJECTOR–
Our ground-level arcade has foosball, a retro arcade system, and a retro game console. The arcade also features karaoke and a disco ball for nonstop fun! Our upstairs living room features a large projector for movie nights. A third TV is in the downstairs bedroom with streaming and movie selections.
-- BEDROOMS --
The home has 3 bedrooms and pull-out sofas in both living rooms. The primary bedroom is on the top floor and has small workspace. The ground floor bedrooms have a king bed and 2 twin beds that can be converted to a king bed (we have a converter kit with a gap filler and straps). Both bedrooms have premium hotel-quality mattresses and linens that are new from 2024. The pull-outs can accommodate 2 people each. For the best experience we recommend 7 adults maximum, but with the pull-out couches we can sleep 10 total.
--LIVING AND DINING--
Enjoy water views in the upscale midcentury modern living and dining spaces. Our kitchen provides all the essentials for cooking. Our cozy fireplace will keep you warm in winter months.
--BATHROOM--
The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combo, the downstairs bathroom has a zero-clearance shower.
Access: The property is down a private drive. The door is accessed via August smart lock, you will receive a code in advance.
The property has two units, your unit is the white and black home (Unit A). Your parking will be labeled and shared via map, please ensure all members of your party have the correct parking instructions. The units are separated via fencing and privacy hedges for privacy.
The area is in a semi-rural area, and can be difficult to find at night. Due to this and our ability to respond to inquiries we do not recommend check-in after 9PM.
Community: Please respect our wonderful neighbors by respecting quiet hours from 10PM-8AM. The firepit is unavailable after 11PM.
Interaction:
We guarantee to be available for rapid responses from 8AM-8PM with a contact for emergency issues. We do not recommend check-in after 9PM.
Other things to note
We are family friendly! Amenities for kids include: kids' utensils, board games, and some small toys. Note that our yard is open and the beach can be dangerous, so please supervise children while outside.
We recommend bringing water shoes because the beach is rocky and can be sharp with shells. The beaches and waterfront in this region are all private, so you are not permitted to walk the length of the beach or go on the beach outside of our property line. Please be aware of this if planning to visit with children: if your children are unable to be controlled within an unfenced area this may not be the right property for you. Some water toys are available seasonally (typically May-October).
Due to the wooded area and garden, we occasionally may have insects wander into the home including sugar ants and house flies. Because we are eco-friendly to local pollinators we do not use harsh pesticides chemicals outside, and as a trade-off we do have insects who find their way in. Please do not leave food out on countertops, as it will attract ants from the outdoors who have a tendency to find their way in through the cracks despite our high cleaning standards. Harmless garter snakes may be seen outdoors on the property, and in the fall spiders are common.
The region is subject to occasional power outages and burn bans. We do not offer compensation for regional burn bans or detours due to standard road maintenance. We offer compensation for daytime power outages over 90 minutes.

I booked this property to enjoy the end of summer with a few friends.
It was absolutely perfect. It accommodated our group well for sleeping arrangements. They had a grill with propane so we enjoyed that.
We brought our own paddle boards even tho they had one and a kayak which we also used.
The jacuzzi was hot and very clean.

My husband and I enjoyed 5 days with our 2 dogs at this property. The house was clean and comfortable. The location was peaceful. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils, pots and pans, and grill worked well. We would absolutely visit again!
