You can find Villa Lapinranta in a peaceful rural setting in Rautiosaari village, Rovaniemi, Finland. This rental cabin is located by the river Kemijoki, at the Hirvassuvanto section.
Villa Lapinranta offers bright and cozy interior, providing a fantastic holiday experience for everyone. There is space for up to 12 people.
River Kemijoki and the surrounding countryside offer stunning facilities for your holiday. In the nearby area, you can enjoy activities like walking, fishing, swimming, hiking, berry picking, or skiing, depending on the season.
Rovaniemi offers a variety of restaurants, cultural activities, sports facilities, and shopping options, all just within a 20-minute drive from Villa Lapinranta. The hometown of Santa Claus, Rovaniemi, has an international atmosphere, and travelers can find diverse and enjoyable things to see and do. While having a holiday here, you can also appreciate the best aspects of Lapland's every season: the midnight sun, the autumn colors, the Northern Lights, or the sparkling spring snow.
Villa Lapinranta has three bedrooms, one with a 160 cm wide double bed, one with two 80 cm single beds, and one with two 80 cm single beds plus a bunk bed. One of the bedrooms also has a working desk.
The living room has a spreadable sofa bed with a size of 140 x 200 cm. In addition, there are two extra mattresses on the floor and a travel cot for children.

In the yard, there is a playhouse, trampoline, swing, sandbox, and toys for children.
Please note that this destination is only rented to families, couples, and other guests looking for a peaceful holiday. It is not available for groups consisting of people under the age of 25.
The beach is in its natural state but is suitable for swimming. The public swimming beach is within walking distance, about 1 km away.
Village Rautiosaari offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling, and in winter, the ski trails are well-maintained. You can find maps of hiking and ski trails in the cabin's information folder.
For fishing in the river Kemijoki, you'll need a fisheries management fee in addition to a local fishing permit, which you can buy when making a booking. On Rautiosaari island, there are several boat ramps where you can launch your own boat in the water. Trolling and ice fishing are especially popular in the area, and you can catch stocked rainbow trout, as well as perch, pike, grayling, trout, and pike perch. The water levels and total flow in the river Kemijoki are controlled, so water levels and flow may vary. It's not safe to move on the ice near the cabin, but there are several other good spots nearby for ice fishing.
Rovaniemi offers a wide range of sports, cultural activities, dining, and shopping options, all just a scenic 20-minute drive away.
Near the cabin, you'll also find a unique natural attraction called Sukulanrakan Hiidenkirnut (potholes), located about 9 km away.

In the yard of Rautiosaari Elementary School (1.5 km away), there's a good playground for children, and you can also play soccer and go ice skating there in winter.
