This was LITERALLY the best hostel I've ever stayed at!!! I booked it in last minute, didn't even check the pics, I just needed some place to rest.. but when I came in ... I was like 😳 Starting with beautiful smile of the receptionist , she was very warm and kind! Then I went to the hostel by itself and was shocked again. Very clean, stylish, cool place with nice people. The towels and sheets were super clean and smell sooooo goood, bathrooms had everything I needed and were ultra clean. I was so gratefulI that I found this place and had an amazing rest there!
It was a little bit noisy in my room at first, but after 23.00 it was quite and nice.

- The hostel is very new, it is a real pleasure to stay there
- No breakfast was provided, but they had kitchen and nice groceries shop nearby
- Even though the room has about 20 beds, it didn’t feel crammed (and thankfully almost no one stored)
- There are lockers which don’t require bringing your lock
- Most of the hotel stuff is very nice, but there were two occasions: 1) The repair man almost thrown my bag to the floor. What a negligence! And I have expensive equipment inside! I left it on a sofa for 2 minutes, went to the bathroom, and the repairmen was moving the sofa to fix something. Clearly he saw my backpack there. I jumped in the last minute to save the backpack from falling. The repairman just kept his poker face and didn’t even apologize! 2) The cleaning lady almost thrown away my bag that I left in the shower for 2 minutes and then returned (because I didn’t find a place to hang it otherwise). Otherwise the stuff was very nice, but these two situations turned out to be very rude!
- The hostel is quite far from the center and main attraction. You need to plan additional 10-20 minutes for transport. For example, it would take about 40 minutes to walk to the central station. But there is a bus show close by.

Wygodne łóżko i aneks kuchenny. Czysto.
Brak czajnika i garnków - tylko jeden duży garnek. Reszta do zaakceptowania. W poniedziałek dostawa do sklepu Kiwi nie dała spać od 6.

Personell var veldig hyggelig og senga var veldig konfortable.
Jeg prøvde å ta en dusj og vann var kald, også var dusjen ødelagt.

Very high-end, brand new hostel. I can tell a lot of thought went into every aspect of the building. From the plugs in each bunk to the automatic doors to the smart lighting, everything is trendy and cutting edge.
As others have mentioned, I’d expect more out of the kitchen area. They should absolutely have more utensils and at least add a kettle and mugs so you can can make your own hot drinks etc. hopefully they add these in the future. No fridge access if you stay in the bunks (but not sure if the private rooms do) so keep that in mind!

Saubere, einfache Zimmer. Ruhiges Ambiente. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Tolle Lage in Oslo!
Es gab eine Küchenzeile, allerdings weder Kochtöpfe, noch Besteck oder Geschirr. Deshalb konnte ich die Küche nicht nutzen.

Having stayed in hundreds of hostel for nearly 30 years I was in general very impressed. It's a brand new hostel that's only been open a few days, has a modern feel, and the rooms have everything you would expect from a hostel for the modern backpacker such as privacy curtain, bed sockets, hooks by the bed, full size luggage lockers, decent bedding and mattresses, key card entry, with the added bonus they provide towels free of charge. The dorm rooms although they have a lot of beds are spacious and not cramped like many other hostels I've often stayed in, they also have nice additional seating, relaxation areas in the dorm rooms. Bathrooms clean and plentiful with spacious shower rooms and shower gels provided. Location is pretty good too and only 5 minutes from Oslo main train station on the tram to the hostels nearest stop, then it's just a couple minutes walk. If you want a decent, clean modern hostel with excellent facilities, but not fussed about cooking / catering facilities you'd be hard pressed to find a better hostel in the city.
The communal area, it's nice and big with plenty of seating, but there are just no kitchen facilities, there are two microwaves, a handful of plates, very small glasses and few items of cutlery (knives, forks, spoons only), that's it, which won't be enough to go round when the place gets busy peak season, so the only thing you can do is heat something like a microwave meal up at best, there's not even a kettle or mugs to make tea or coffee. Budget conscious travellers will want to self cater and there are just no real facilities to do that, I don't know if it's just being the first few days there will be more kitchen items arriving in the coming days. I know a lot of hostels nowadays are moving away from big shared fridges and food storage cupboards as items that guests leave behind just end up cluttering them up and make kitchens look untidy and dirty, but they at least need to get a kettle / water urn, a hob, and decent utensils to cook with as not having these will put many people off staying knowing they can't properly cook, (there was one guest I met who was frustrated as she couldnt even cook pasta as no hobs or even a dish she could heat a bowl of pasta in the microwave). There is also a lack of atmosphere in the communal area, where there was a little music, but this didn't come on until mid morning and was turned off by 9pm, all you need is to maybe put on a local radio station and have it in from say 8 when people are generally there having breakfast, and have it on until 10 or 11pm as this is when most people are using the area, nothing too loud, just, something. A few screens playing music videos / music channel and also displaying hostel info would just bring a little atmosphere as the place was dead quiet and just not that inviting to want to stay long periods of time in, so literally just ate and left.
