About this house rental
Summary: Furnished Completely Independent and Private Unit in a Duplex House steps to the heart of Ballard and one bus away from all Seattle attractions. One of the best locations in Seattle hands down, and not a micro studio or a tiny condo. This is a furnished 1 Bedroom that should check all your boxes if you are around for a short visit, a short internship or exploring Seattle and its surroundings. The place is full of light, completely private (no roommates), and consists of an independent half of a duplex house in Ballard. It has its own ground entrance (with no one above or below), its own PO Box, its own front yard with a nice tree, and its own private back yard too. It shares its Garbage Disposal with the other half of the duplex. It is on NW 56th street and only minutes walking to where all the action in Ballard is (1 minute to Market St and maybe 2 minutes to the vibrant dining areas). This place is pretty spacious when compared to the nearby studios/apartments on 24th Ave, where you get entangled between a dozen neighbors. It is around 400 sq. ft. in a very quiet area and street. It has a large kitchen, a decent size living room, a walk-in storage room or closet, and a small bedroom that is enough to fit a Queen sized bed (currently has a double Queen mattress), a night stand, and a few lamps. The bathroom is decent in size. Terms: Available for a month or a little longer only between April 4 and May 14 subject to current lease. There will be no extension beyond May 14. In person or video chat available before move-in. Current furniture stays. Utilities except internet can be included for an additional $100. Rent due before move in and $100 deposit required (refundable upon no damage post rent). Good credit score, background, references, and steady source of income are required if asked. It is perfect for interns, Seattle visitors who would like to explore the area from a central location, folks moving-in and wanting a short-term arrangement before settling, or folks working in Ballard and neighboring areas. The house has a cozy but old charm. Everything in the house should work well. The main fridge freezer does not freeze completely but the mini-freezer in the mini-fridge helps with that. The unit has a mini washer and mini dryer appliances (for small loads). Thank you for looking and let me know if you have questions!
