Myself and 3 other friends made reservations months in advance for the LSU vs Alabama game. We all booked a 1 night stay, which was allowed at the time of the booking. The week before our reservation, my 2 friends had there reservations cancelled. After doing some research, the hotel owner claimed the hotel was over booked. However, you were able to rebook the rooms at a 2 night minimum and double the price per night! Numerous attempts were made to speak with the owner, but he never returned any of my calls. (the hotel manager was nice and stated this issue was beyond her control and provided me with the owners number) Luckily, I had booked with Hotels.com and they must have denied the owner from canceling my room. When we arrived at the hotel, they had over booked and only had 2 of our 3 rooms available. Shame on the owner of this hotel for his shady ways of business. I feel sorry for the workers that have to deal with upset customers because of his shady business practices. In addition, our room did look like the pictures, but there is a reason they are using colored lighting. Disgusting rooms and bathrooms. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

I never was admitted in my room. The hotel was over booked, and had canceled my reservation. The money had already been paid. I am supposed to get that refund ??

Furnishings were nice. However, this was supposedly a handicap room, with wide bathroom doorway and one grab bar next to toilet. Another grab bar positioned behind the toilet (?). No grab bars in the bathtub/shower. Only two bath towels and two wash cloths provided, no hand towels. Tub, floor and other surfaces didn't appear to be clean. Electrical outlet at bathroom sink did not work. There was no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no ice bucket. I was told there was an ice machine in the office, but office was locked in the morning. No telephone with which to call office. Wifi was too weak to operate TV without continued buffering. Nobody cleaned or freshened the room during my four-night stay, no trash emptied. The ac was inadequate to cool the room at night. I visit Baton Rouge yearly and will not stay here again.

Customer service is terrible they have bed bugs they over charge for your stay. Then have the nerve to call me and tell me that I only paid for 1 night. The guy at the desk was real disrespectful in front of other customers. The wifi doesn't work it was a very unpleasant stay I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

The staff Derriel and MyNicole were so helpful and very professional. They made sure we were taken cared of in every way. We will definitely tell our friends and family about the Boardwalk! The room was well equipped and so comfortable. This will definitely not be our last stay there!! Coodos to crew there♥️

The staff is super friendly hotel located right by I10 plenty of food places in walking distance gas station next door…bed was comfortable and all amenities for the room was there and work only negative I had was no breakfast but Waffle House across the street

Breakfast was the best !! Eggs , sausage, waffles , bagels , toast, muffins , OJ , apple juice, milk , cereal , coffee , flavored creamers , nice dining area , clean, room was nice and clean, quiet , decent price , still wanted my sidearm but I’m a lawful citizen that follows the rules even if I don’t agree . Not a town I’d recommend to visit ..

For the price, it was a decent place. My problem was in the morning. When I wanted to check out, I found that there was no person in the office until 10am. This was explained that it was due to staff shortage.

It was completely remodeled and was very nice and comfy. I was not expecting it to be so nice and relaxing. They had grills, sitting areas, and also tree swings as well as a hammock. I felt safe knowing they had a security guard on duty over night.

The building was in poor shape with crumbling concrete stairs. The elevator was not functioning. Trash was everywhere. No toilet paper, no trash can, no bath mat only two wash cloths and two towels. No ice bucket and dirt on the floors.

1st room no hot water. 2nd room no bathroom door. Bed is in uncomfortable. Tv wouldn't work. Pictures online are different of what you actually get.

Room was basic, very clean. Good value for the price. As a female, traveling alone, I felt safe. Michael and Micole were very friendly and helpful. I used Uber and Lyft often, and I had no trouble getting rides from the location.

Think trashy motel with nice TV. Had to call 911 to come break up a fight at 9:00 AM, just so we could check out. No one in lobby the majority of the time. If you call the number they give you, it goes straight to someone’s voicemail. Forget Internet. It is in and out constantly.

Wow. Very impressed with this property. The rooms are really nice, the property was safe and quiet, and the staff really went above and beyond. My favorite thing was the outdoor picnic tables and bbq grills under the big trees. This is now my favorite hotel in Louisiana.
