About this house rental
High up in the canopy, you’ll enjoy soaking in the tub & views at this private cosy home.
Just 500m to Havelock North Village with its cafes, restaurants, bars, boutique shops, supermarket & playground.
Perfect for a holiday with family or friends, just kick back & entertain on the wrap around deck, finishing the night with a soak under the stars.
Close to Te Mata Park's walking & mountain biking trails; famous wineries; the Sunday Farmers’ market; and beaches.
*No parties please
The space
*3 bedrooms: 1 King, 1 Queen, Bunk Beds (double bed on the bottom and single bed on the top).
*Open plan kitchen, dining (dining table for 6 + breakfast bar with 4 stools) and lounge - 55inch Smart TV with youtube, TVNZ on demand, Disney, Amazon Prime.
*Our water is filtered at the house point of supply to remove chlorine and so on, which means great tasting drinking water and chlorine free showers. Enjoy!
*Huge deck via large bifold doors from the lounge, set amongst the canopy of trees with views over Havelock North and Hastings. Outdoor dining, barbecue, outdoor lounge furniture, cedar hot tub.
*Bathroom with separate bath and shower
*Separate toilet
*Laundry facilities available on request for stays of one week or more - please let us know at the time of booking if you would like access to the laundry.
* There is a tenanted flat underneath our house which has its own separate access. You will not see the tenants but please refrain from excessively loud noise late at night and no parties please.
**Our family cat Todd lives at the property. He’s not a bother and is very friendly, especially if you are happy to sprinkle a few biccies in his bowl :-)
Guest access
You'll have access to the main house on the second story from the street.
The bottom of the house (including laundry and garage) will be closed off.
For longer stays (at least one week) we can arrange access to the laundry, please let us know at the time of booking.
Other things to note
Hot Tub is available on request.
Pizza oven is not in use- unfortunately the pizza oven in the photos is out of service and will not be available for use - sorry.
