About this house rental
Welcome to the Blue Oasis in the famous Fremont district of Seattle or as the locals say, “The Center of the Universe”.
This Seattle view home is perfectly situated between some of Seattle's most exciting neighborhoods. Open concept home with lots of natural light. This home is perfect for your Seattle getaway!
Location matters when coming to the Emerald City and this home has a walk score of 97 that borders the exciting and bustling districts of Ballard, Green Lake, Phinney Ridge, and a short Uber ride or 20-minute bike ride to Downtown Seattle.
You will have plenty of things to do at your fingertips while staying at the Blue Oasis.
This Seattle home has stunning views from both the front yard and on the back patio as you sip your coffee on the porch or relaxing in the hot tub.
Experience the fun and funky night life of Fremont and Ballard where you can walk to the strip of bars, shops, and restaurants, or enjoy the Sunday markets and meet some local Seattleites. Walk to Gasworks Park right on the waterfront and enjoy a picnic while watching the incoming sailboats and boats coming in from the sound with one of the best views of the Seattle skyline in the city.
If you like fitness, don’t forget to check out the walkable Green Lake district where you can run around the famous Green Lake or feel free to rent a kayak or paddleboard onsite for some family fun. If you like to bike there are plenty of rental spots around the house that are walkable or pick up one of the city Lime bikes and explore the city on the famous Burke Gilman Trail that is only a couple of blocks away from the house. The Burke Gilman or as Seattleites say “The Burke” was an old railroad that was turned into a bike trail some years back that takes you through all the districts and into downtown by Sculpture Park.
Downtown Seattle is only 10 minutes via Uber, so make sure you go and see the famous Pikes Market as it is a city staple and one of the biggest tourist attractions in the city. Don’t forget to try some seafood and chowder while you are there and the gum wall is a must.
Our home has an open concept feel with lots of natural light for those sunny days. The home is equipped with high quality bedding, multiple seating areas for larger groups, stainless steel appliances, surround sound music system, and gorgeous, landscaped backyard with incredible mountain views. This home is perfect for your luxury Seattle getaway! The home has 2 levels. The top floor has a spacious, airy, and light-filled living room with water views, as well as a dining table that seats 8, and a kitchen. Additionally, there are 2 bedrooms upstairs: 1 with a California king sized bed and 1 with a king-sized bed as well as a full bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo. There is a 3rd bedroom on the lower floor with a queen-sized bed. Additionally on the lower floor there is a large 2nd living space or as I call it a theatre room with 85-inch TV and ample seating to relax on those rainy days. There is also a full bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo downstairs.

Unfortunately we arrived on our check-in day (after a long day) and someone was already there! Double booked. We were left scrambling to find somewhere we could stay. Not sure how this happened as we've never had a problem before.

We stayed here for a couple of days while our kitchen is being renovated. The house, itself, seems rather small from the outside, but there was plenty of room. We really enjoyed the back yard, which is small, but feels very tranquil. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was well-appointed and very clean. As someone who has been without a kitchen for awhile, I would have loved to have more pots and pans and spices in the pantry - but that may be unique to me. The street itself is on a very steep incline. It made us a little nervous to park there - but everything turned out fine. I also want to say that I really appreciated the owner's communication. They reached out often and seemed very accessible.

Overall we loved or stay and the home. However the biggest issue is we had 8 people and set our search filter for that. The home listed it could sleep 8 but it could only sleep 6. It looks like there used to be a futon but wasn't there. Two people had to sleep on the couches. The other issue was the cleanliness of the back yard/patio. It looked like it hadn't be cleaned in a very only time. We sent a lot of time cleaning the chairs, table and patio which all had a lot of debris and a layer on grime on them

Lovely well outfitted home with a wonderful outdoor space and fantastic view. Very comfortable, tastefully appointed. Communication with property owner and manager was timely and professional. Digital guest interface near the front door was a great touch.
Noteable:
House is on a VERY steep street so might not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.

Clean, cute, centrally located! Perfect for our family of 5 for a quick visit to Seattle!

Our family of 4 stayed at this home for a full 2 weeks while selling our own home. The property manager was incredibly responsive and accommodating from start to finish, and we arrived to find a clean, well-cared for home that was full of thoughtful details and amenities. Great bedrooms with large beds, lots of entertainment with big TVs, comfy couches, and outdoor/indoor games. We loved spending time in the backyard on the deck and patio, which makes for a truly lovely and relaxing afternoon! A few things to note: the home is located on a steep hill, so parking / getting in and out of your vehicle could be tricky if you have any physical limitations, but it wasn’t a problem for us. If you choose to visit in the summer, be aware there is no AC, and we could not find any fans kept on the property - maybe the property manager will equip the house with some. We had a few very hot days during our two weeks and were grateful for the basement that was about 15 degrees cooler than the rest of the house.
All in all a perfect home that was exactly as advertised. Highly recommend for all groups! Thank you for a great stay!

We used this as our home-base for a family get-together to celebrate a UW graduation and to explore Seattle. It was a great setup for that - plenty of space, a great backyard and easy to get to all the places we visited. On top of that, Ruby was very responsive and available to help with anything that came up.
