The Hilton Stadtpark was renovated a few years ago--not to its benefit. The overall look is now "hotel banal." The lobby is especially tasteless, and they insist on playing bad "background music" far too loudly. They "added" many rooms by chopping some of the old rooms in half. The result is that many rooms are now quite small, and the breakfast buffet is very overcrowded since they added so many guests. The beds are uncomfortable now. The service is fine, and many of the rooms have spectacular views of the city. The best feature of this hotel is its location, just at the edge of the inner city and across from the Wien Mitte station.

I always come back to this hotel. Very well located near underground and train station, the stadt park and some great bakeries. Rooms are spacious and modern, great gym facilities.

Checking-in was really slow. I arrived at 21:00 and there were approx 6 ppl waiting to check-in. I waited almos 30 min to be served, 15min to get my room, and I got the wrong room (twin bed instead of King size bed). After arriving to my room, I contacted reception and they changed my room to what I paid. It took me 1.10min from arrival to get my room. Very tired and not something I will expect when paying £240 per night!

"Air conditioning" was not producing cool air. The thermostat on the wall was of little use. Thankfully, the windows open up just enough to let some cold air into the room to cool it down. Otherwise, my stay would have been a disaster. But with window open, you hear street noise. Hotel is in good location however and rooms seemed quiet.

The Hilton Vienna Park was an excellent value; great location, beautiful park views, excellent breakfast and great service. Our king room was on the 11th floor overlooking the park and the city and I thought the price was excellent compared to some other hotels I looked at. Very clean and very new also!

The situation of the hotel to the shops and trains was excellent, The hotel was very large and was well maintained, but maybe too large for me. I didn’t find the cleaning of rooms very satisfactory as other hotels I have stayed in! The Restaurant was disjointed, finding food was not a great experience, the food was excellent but way too spread out. The people who worked there were very friendly. We wanted to order food later in the day for our room, again far too many calls had to be made! And the tray was still in the room the following evening! Perhaps a bit more information in the room would have assisted! On the day before we left tea/milk etc. was not available, which wasn’t a great experience to leave on, as even when the room was “tidied, this wasn’t left in the room.
