Location and river view from the California tower was better than expected. An unexpected bonus was seeing a herd of goats on the little island near the Arizona water taxi landing from my 7th floor room. After staying on Fremont Street for the last few decades and seeing how Las Vegas has deteriorated Laughlin is my new default for fun in Nevada.

Hotel was clean, most staff was nice. Lots of bugs on the river walk, not much they can do but should have some kind of zapper or something inside because they were getting inside. No fan in bathroom, toilet did noy flush property. Dissapointed in the room amenities. No lotion or designated place for soap on the counter. The housekeeping staff was amazingly nice and brought extra pillows and towels when requested. View of the river was great. For the price, it was great

At check in, we tried to use the kiosk to get our rooms. Was scolded for booking with third party. I told the receptionist I needed a room with 2 beds. I got up to the room and had a king bed only. Took 45 minutes to get another room. Overall has a strong cigarette smell even up near the rooms. I don't think they had any air purification going on. Smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Won't stay here again.

At first it was a little bit terrifying room with one bed(requested 2 queen due to my disability) paid more to up grade and was ok. I think all staff should smile more to make it a happier place to be in.

Strap in folks this is going to be a long one! First day we arrived we checked in went to the room and it was filthy, hair all over the place, shower had dirty foot prints in it, toilet was disgusting. We went back down got a new room, went to that one and there was bits of paper all over the carpet, the furniture, carpet are very worn. It's very obvious this hotel does not care about looks. Next morning we get up and can't turn on the shower because the handle is broken. I called down stairs and I am told there is no manager on duty she's taking a break and I was told she'd call me back in 15-20mins. Pretty weird you can't talk to someone at a hotel that runs 24/7 but okay fine, we waited over a hour and nothing. We went down stairs to the counter where I asked for a manager and Jayme was there immediately she gave us attitude telling me there is no notes of us complaining about the room being dirty or moving rooms. I told her shouldn't make a difference we are complaining now. I then told her I find it's a little crazy that we can't shower and no one called me back. She immediately got defensive and told me she won't be belittled for taking a break and called security on us! She then told me the hotel manager will be in, in 30mins and she refuses to help us anymore and walked away. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and never in my life have I had a manager call security on me for complaining. Security shows up and trys to act like cops asking for our IDs which they

The wife and I booked a night here last minute for the Jason Aldean concert in Sep-24. It's Laughlin, as Las Vegas locals who worked in the best resorts on the strip, we knew to level set our expectations. However, for this type of trip (a country concert) this is the best type of vibe to get. The casino and center bar area was very clean. The front desk attendant seemed nice, but it was VERY difficult to hear her. Which is probably why we ended up in the room with the view that we got (4th floor facing the roof and HVAC). The bartender never made eye contact or said anything after we sat for a drink there after the concert. We gambled a little bit, won a little bit, and then went about our way to grab drinks elsewhere. The pool on the day of the concert was great and offered a friendly environment with views of the river. The bartender there was amazing. Overall, would stay here again in the future for an overnight stay.

I traveled solo and had a good time. The food in Cafe Aquarius was good. There were several things to do on the property. I even took one of the boat cruises. I will definitely go back.

After saying here a few times, I got to say is a basic old hotel. Does have a fridge and coffee maker. Now the issues are usually with the hot/ cold water and its pressure. Old building issues. Bring your sleep mask if you're sensitive to light as the blinds might be messed up also.

I've been staying here since 1990 and seen the changes from different name changes and management. This hotel still needs a major overhaul, especially the rooms. Carpet on the casino floor and rooms is severely worn in which I almost tripped. It's loud and crowded and filled with so many security guards and police. I felt like something was going to happen and felt uneasy. The pool was down during 110 degree weather but still paid the $20+ resort fee. The only reason I went was to go swimming and I couldn't. Front desk didn't advise it was closed at check in and had to walk all the was down in my swimsuit to find out. Beds are noisy when rolling over and very uncomfortable. I like the view from our Panaramic windows. Good luck on taking a shower- luke warm water no matter what I did to try and fix it. Overall the hotel is dated.Not taken care of. Felt like fights were going to break out constantly with the people that were there. I should of saved my money and went to The New Pioneer where it is cheaper, the beds feel good, the pool is clean and open, hit water for the shower, and easy to get around!

Front desk gave me a key of a room that was already occupied. Made for an awkward situation when I opened their door. Walked all the way back to the front desk for a new room and the next room they gave me had a TV that didn’t work. I was too tired to go back and get yet another room.

My stay at the Aquarius wasn’t good! The furniture, looked dingy, the lamps and nightstands had dust all over it. For it to be a non smoking floor the room wreaked of cigarettes so we had to keep the AC going so it wasn’t that bad. The casino looked more cleaner. The food was good, gift shop was nice and even though I really didn’t win anything the casino experience was good. The experience was nice just the room was not up to expectations as pictured and I ended up leaving a day because of this.

When checking in we did not have good customer service, we were not given clear ditections to anything or where to go. When we got un room, it was nothing like the pictures of the room we booked or the reviews. We did not have any of the experience of the reviews. The room was dusty, carpet dirty. Chair completely filthy and black, the bathtub did not drain, the shower nozzle so loose from wall. However the manager Michelle Perez was absolutely understanding, kind, compassionate, and friendly. She had great customer service and wanted to do everything she could to make it right. We will stay again and not take one experience for final decision.

The TP holder in the bathroom was way too close to the toilet. A slim person could NOT comfortably sit on the toilet. Furniture in rough condition, wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at. I was supposed to have a room w/2 queen beds, got a room with 1queen for my son and I. Just zero attention to detail.

The smell in the hallways was disgusting. It smelled like people pee in the hallways. The sheets smelled my cigarette. The hotel is filled with cobwebs on the outside. The pool was closed our first day. Overpriced for what is offered.
