A lovely and cosy hotel with a fantastic pool and helpful hotel staff. We enjoyed a few drinks on the terrace each evening, at a very reasonable rate and with plenty of nibbles provided, and throughly enjoyed the breakfast. The only downsides were the perhaps in our room - aircon not at 100% capacity, shower in bath not great and hairdryer dying after 30 seconds not ideal. Otherwise, a really good stay in a wonderful city.

What an unexpected fantastic stay. Conveniently located near the city with plenty of parking. The staff in particular the barman couldn't do enough, superb.

It’s a little gem 30 min walk to Siena. A bit dated but very clean. People are very nice. We got there late and bartender prepared meal for us despite restaurant being close already. Very nice pool area. We were offered the room in the annex that we didn’t like so we got the room in the main building. Main building has an elevator handy for the luggage. Restaurant patio has a nice view of the town. The hotel will be renovated by the next summer.

We loved the setting with the green areas and gardens. Room was comfortable and clean, staff was excellent. Enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Unfortunately we stayed only one night, so we couldnt explore everything but what we did, we liked. Welcome was very welcoming and everything was expained. Got room upgrade; were staying not in in the villa. Breakfast was good, everyone helpful.

Fantastic villa getaway hotel. Only 1km form old Siena town centre, easy walk or short bus and cab ride. Great service comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Relaxing by the pool is also great. Would stay there again

Pluses: lots of parking (which can be hard to find in Siena), good air conditioning, comfortable bed with nice linens. Minuses: Overall condition is not great. The hallway ceiling was leaking when it rained, the plaster is peeling off of the walls, and the shower fixtures are completely worn out. The hotel definitely needs maintenance attention and general updates.

It was okay as a hotel. My initial contact at check in wasn't welcoming but it got much better with another staff member. It was comfortable, clean and close to old town. Looked lovely but the pool hours were so limited (10:00 - 7:00) that we could not enjoy it because it forced us to pick between seeing the sights of Siena or using the pool.

room are clean and nice, a little old school but nice. we didn't stay in main building but 2nd building it was the first rain of the season, and we didn't have heat at all. breakfast was great, the view from the terrace was great and nice to have a cigratte and a coffee and see the city on one side and the green fields on the other side the pool looks great but we didn't have the weather to try both. but the old building rooms require maintenance at least on A/C and heat. in previous review I read the AC had issue in hot weather to cool you down, apparently it doesn't work when it is cold too. extra coves in the room helped but i suggest maintenace to update this part other than that great food, great view , classic old scholl design rooms, mattress was fine too

A really friendly place to be. Helpful staff. Very good food in the restaurant! Nice and large rooms, but old and worn. Needs refurbishment. The stay feels a bit like a time travel. Quiet area. Certainly a place to stay for longer.

Good stay! A bit outside the city center, so be prepared to walk for 30-60 minutes each way to see the best parts of the city. Good breakfast, nice pool area. Very hard and uncomfortable beds, but otherwise good!

Grounds look nice. The terrace area and front of hotel area. Pool area not so much. Room looked tired and outdated. Disappointed!!! I often wondered if Hotels.ca get the less appealing rooms for their sight. It seems to often happen that any nicer hotel have no availability when you check
