I was disappointed when i got to our room . I had taken my newly engaged lady to the hilton thinking i had booked a executive suite. But infact i has mistakenly booked just a standard double .. obviously my fault . Both of us were absolutely soaked getting to the hotel and our chance to wonder around belfast Christmas market was ended by the weather closing it down . So no romantic christmas get away . Plus our room jad a very bad seal on the window that let the wind howl in .woke us up most of Friday night and was drafty on Saturday as we were stuck in the room because of the weather . ..All in all other than my obvious mess of booking a romantic get away for my future wife and i and her wish to shop in belfast at Christmas ruined by the weather . All i can say is.. we both are glad to be home at our respective homes .

Some vety poir trained staff .
Then some who are amazing .
Definitely need additional disability and equality training for some .
Breakfast vety poor and not enough staff. Little choice and manager trying her best .
No delf glassware or cutlery on tables and had to ssk twice for a rea bag to get a cuppa
I have stayedcim many Halton Hotels and this one previously.
Needs urgent attention as it is to a very poir standard .
I would avoid this Halton Belfast Hotel shame how one franchise can cause so much damage to the brand .
I however met some wonderful staff, not fair when it is across the board as they excelled while others need urgent customer disability and equality training.

Have stayed at this hotel with family previously and had no complaints. This time we had a lovely view of the river, the only problem was we shared a door with a family in the next room who were very noisy via an interconnecting door. We could hear them talk, argue and snore at night and fight and argue prior to 7am the next morning. There is little or no insulation in these doors. Staff were friendly in the hotel but made us feel uncomfortable when we stopped in the bar with our 11 and 15year old as it was after 930pm and told us no kids were permitted at this time even though we were residents. The beds in the hotel were rock hard and uncomfortable with one pillow per person so we didnt have a good nites sleep between the ones next door snoring and the early morning wakeup from their arguments.
Breakfast while plentiful was not great. The fried food was lukewarm, the scrambled eggs were swimming in liquid and the soda bread could not be cut unless you had a blowtorch. If this was a budget hotel i would expect these issues but this is supposedly the hilton

A very functional hotel that gives you what you need, and does that very well.
View from my window (1st floor) was rubbish. But the room was nice and big and comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If I have one minor grumble it would be that the cheap toilet paper stood out against all the other quality offerings.

All the staff were great and they really look after their guests. The nearby St George’s market was recommended and was a great way to spend a couple of hours
