My husband and I stayed four nights at Torre a Mare and were joined by our son, daughter-in-law and 5 month old grandson for two of those four nights. The location is perfect with wonderful views of the sea and picturesque village of Porto Venere.
Breakfast was excellent, served continental style in the tiny upstairs lounge with access to the outside terrace. Martina made great macchiatos and fresh squeezed orange juice to order!
Ilaria provided us with information about the area and was so helpful in making our stay there comfortable and relaxing.
Our rooms were on the top floor, with seaside views and a four flight walk, so take note as there is no lift if needed. Rooms are small but efficiently designed to make use of the space.

Great little family run hotel, the owner was so friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed and a cute balcony overlooking the town.
Highly recommend this charming hotel.

Most of all be aware that there is no elevator and you must carry luggage up about 3 flights of narrow stairs. (Or ask for help!) Front desk not manned overnight. A few things on the listing were not accurate (breakfast situation, hair products available). The people working the desk were nice and helpful. And the sound insulation from outside was good, but between rooms I could hear other guests talking at normal levels (and later snoring) through the walls.

The location of the property cannot be faulted, the bathroom products were of good quality and the staff were friendly. The room was cramped, with mere centimetres between the bottom of the bed and the wall. At the price, I wouldn't stay again.
