The place advertised looks nice in photos but they give you a stuffy room in another block with so many keys to enter and leave. And so many flights of stairs. So frustrating. Even found cockroach in my room. And no hot water. They are helpful but such an unpleasant stay.

Great value for money! The exceptional cleanliness and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff made my stay truly enjoyable. Unfortunately, there is a nearby dump with a bad odor next to the accommodation. Despite this slight inconvenience, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience!

Inside the property is very beautiful. Wifi in common area is excellent for Cuba standards. The owners are nice. Rooms are big, it’s great value for the price. You can’t really complain. Only thing was I saw a cockroach on the pillows on my last night, and couldn’t dare sleep the entire night.

In the center of Habana, this unexpected giant Casa welcomes you!
A Big, othentic and clean room, I had.
Note that they normally do not provide shampoo, soap. My host found me a shampoo for my very short stay. She was helpful and friendly.
Just a note, I found out a big insect in my room at night.
The responsible of my casa, he helped me a lot by calling my taxi driver and waited till he arrived.
Many thanks and greetings to my lovely Cuba 🤗

Casa David (both buildings) are museum-like places with an abundance of classic decor and furnishings and walls generously adorned with wonderful artwork. Both buildings are warm and inviting, have open patio areas on the ground floor, have nicely appointed rooms and have 24 hour cleaning and guard services. (Actually, the presence of a guard or cleaning person the Calle Campanario house was a bit unnerving at times.)
The room was very clean, nicely appointed with art and with air conditioning and fans that work well. The bathroom and shower facilities were quite adequate but there was not a spec of soap to be found at any time (it is always a good idea to bring liquid and/or bar soap with you to Cuba as these are rarely available in public facilities). The wifi connection was the best and most consistent of the four casas I used while in Cuba.
Above all, Casa David is very conveniently located on the edge of La Habana Vieja. It was possible to explore wide swaths of the old town and beyond on foot. The collective taxis that run along Calle Neptuno are an easy and economic way to go to Vedado and other locations.
The breakfast buffet was also excellent at Casa David and the kitchen team were always friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next stay and thank David and the whole team of cooks, cleaning persons, guards and receptionists for their hospitality and assistance.
