Our stay was fantastic. We came from New Zealand, and had heard about "Southern Hospitality" in Texas. The staff at Fredericksburg Inn & Suites demonstrated exactly what that is. They were super friendly at check-in, offered hints and tips about the area, volunteered all the information needed about their property, and were genuinely interested in our travels and story. The property itself was perfect, too. Our room was equipped with modern furnishings, and a comfortable bed. Being motel-style with a window facing the pool was a little worrisome at first, but we soon discovered it was extremely quiet! The hot tub was great, and the multiple fire pits were fun to hang out and have a whisky at. Free carparking was a huge drawcard, but the winner was the included breakfast. We loved the traditional biscuits and gravy which we can't get back home, and the yummy waffles were in the shape of Texas! Being from an environmentally aware country, the disposable plates and cutlery were odd, but overall, we give this property 5 stars. The staff and property made our trip to Fredericksburg a great one to remember. Thanks ya'll!

The place was very well located and the amenities were very good, the breakfast was delicious, the only bad thing that disappointed me was that one of the receptionists was a little rude to me when I asked for some extra towels, she didn't give me the ones I asked for and when My children went to ask for more towels since there were only 2 in the room and there were 4 of us. The receptionist was sarcastic with my children and questioned them rudely. I believe that the customer always comes first and customer service should not be minimized, especially for a few extra towels.

I staid in the suite and paid extra for a bit more comfort as we were a couple with a teenage girl. The space was too little to accommodate 3 people. It was a BR with king and a convertible sofa in the LR that occupies almost the entire tiny living area. The vanity and bath separate the BR & LV. The shower and toilet separated with a sliding glass door with poor ventilation. The shower space was too narrow that you can barely turn your body while trying to void touching the wall or the glass. The ceiling too low too. I guess those with claustrophobia would never step into the shower or the toilet. In addition, others must tolerate the toilet smell or the bath moist other person every time the bath was used. The bath section was separated from the LR and BR using sliding doors, to cross that region you should ask, hey is anyone taking shower or using the toilet? I wanna pass to the BR or getting out of it! It put us in a couple of awkward moments :) we staid 2 nights and 3 days, the room service never visited the suit and didn’t refill the supplies, so we have to ask the front desk for towels. TG, the front desk was 24/7. The suite is suitable for 1 or max 2, not 3 or 4 as advertised. Yes, the outdoor hot tub was excellent and the outdoor fireplaces and TV at the pool were cozy for outdoor hangout, but until we decided to unwind indoor and find a pillow to crash for the night. I don’t recommend the place.

Overall the property was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and pleasant.
However, the WiFi was atrociously slow, which made it difficult to do any level of work the one night I stayed for a business trip. My phone with minimal cell service provided much faster internet speeds than the hotel WiFi. Unfortunately that’s a deal breaker for any return stays for business trips.
I might stay here if I were in town for pleasure, but never again for a business trip.

Comfortable bed, nice hot pool, very attractive grounds around outside that invite you to sit and enjoy relaxing. Evening firepits available too.

The location was good; within walking distance of Main Street. One negative factor is they have no elevator. The room was clean, but the bedding was in need of an upgrade. The sheets did not fit bed correctly and the pillows were uncomfortable. They need to invest in queen size pillows and ditch the throw pillows. There were two standard pillows which were very flat so you have to use the throw pillows to prop them up. The towels were beach towel size. The shower had good water pressure.

We've stayed a few times at this beautiful property. So close to Main Street activity day and night. We walked to our fun. Enjoyed the hot tub and the festival down close to us. Great place!

The room was good. Very clean. The employees were great. However the fixtures could use some attention. The exterior door handle was loose as well as the handle to turn on the shower.

Average hotel for the area.
Pros: Loved all the public spaces: the pool, the outdoor fireplace and patio were awesome. The fire pits and sitting areas were fun for families. Breakfast and coffee was great.
Cons: Our room was dated, it needed a deep clean. The floors needed attention, and a deep clean. Bathroom had peeling paint and rust. The room had a weird smell overall. Bed was clean, but had wear. I don’t think I would book there again.

Very nice hotel. We stay here several times a year. Close to downtown so you can walk and not have to worry about finding a parking place. It was hot during our stay and the pool was refreshing. Grounds are lovely. Many choices for breakfast.

This property is located two blocks off the primary street where all shops are located. They have several outdoor sitting areas so you can come back and not just sit in a hotel room. Breakfast was average hotel breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again should we return to Fredericksburg

Great stay, walking distance to Main St. Pool was very nice. Complimentary breakfast was until 10am and nice to have before vineyards and exploring Main St. Staff was excellent! CJ, Rene and the Manager Dylan were super accommodating when we extended our stay! Such kind individuals and truly made our stay feel safe and above and beyond! Would definitely come back!
