Amazing property and friendly staff - everything felt very comfortable and calm. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

The Bardo was perfectly located for our stay. We love to walk each morning and Forsyth park and fountains were just across the street. The hotel pool is too cute not to visit for a relaxing nap. The staff were all top notch and very helpful. We also enjoyed the restaurant.

The Bardo is absolutely stunning. We only stayed for one night and really wish we could have been there for longer! The staff were so lovely and attentive. The room was impeccable: beautifully decorated and with a huge bath! Even though our room faced onto the street, it was really quiet and the bed could not have been comfier. The pool area is lovely, and they have a great selection of smaller bites and drinks. The location could not be better either! The complimentary continental breakfast was a great treat (the pastries were delicious). I cannot imagine there is anywhere better to stay in Savannah!

While the inside is lovely it is the pool area including bar and outdoor seating that really sells this hotel. It has a fun vibe and on a hot afternoon is a lovely place to relax, order a drink and just enjoy Savannah. The hotel is in a nice location although probably a 20 minute walk to the river/historic area. Highly recommend the trolly which stops right near the hotel!

We had an overall lovely stay at the Hotel Bardo this week. The buildings and rooms are absolutely gorgeous as well as the pool, although it was quite crowded with guests not staying there on the weekend. The staff was all lovely and very helpful. The location is perfect. The only disappointment was that our view of was of the garbage area of the back of the hotel when we’d paid extra for the style of room we had (this was a trip for both my moms and my birthday)…let down to have to keep the curtains drawn the whole time.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
I came seeking refuge after hurricane Helene and didn’t want to leave. The staff was amazing, the property perfectly serene and hip at the same time and the regular room felt like a suite. The restaurant was fabulous and so was the bar, breakfast, pool, etc.
I plan on making this my go to stay in Savannah.

The stay started off on a difficult foot. There was a large wedding on the property so we were over 1 hour late in checking in as they didn't have our room cleaned at 4PM. We also had to move where we were sitting twice due to the different Wedding party activities. However, the room was extremely well appointed. The extras like Pilates, Yoga and Bootcamp were amazing as was the heated pool. The staff was helpful. The valet parkers were great. We were just looking for a bit more of a quiet get away in Savannah and it was very noisy and exuberant.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Bardo and didn't want to leave! The room and property was gorgeous, staff were super friendly, and it's an amazing setting on the side of Forsyth Park.
The only thing I would suggest to improve is a more generous breakfast offer - it is listed as continental but it's just coffee/tea and some mini pastries.
We will definitely stay again if/when we are back in Savannah!

Everything was fine except the ‘free’ breakfast. It was an unappetizing continental breakfast with very few options, except for sugary donuts.

I so wanted to like this hotel, but my stay really was a disappointment, especially given the cost of the room.
There were issues with service (ie. I called down for a toothbrush that was never delivered, there was no room service menu in the room, I made a reservation to have the hotel car take me and my family to a restaurant, but they gave the car to someone else, leaving us 30 minutes late because we had no transportation).
But the major issue had to do with my car. I drive an electric car, and I phoned two days prior to make sure the hotel had a charging station. They said they did. I arrived and told the valet the car needed to be charged. 20 minutes later, I logged onto my car app and saw the car wasn’t charging. I went down to the valet, who said he’d plugged it in, but he’d double check. 20 minutes later, it still wasn’t charging. The valet let me see the charging station, and I noticed two lights saying the station wasn’t working. At that point, the valet said he’d check with the hotel’s engineer and in the meantime, he’d use the public charging station across the street. The engineer said the charger had been problematic for awhile and it wasn’t working. The charger across the street was busy. Eventually, I parked the car in a lot near the Thompson hotel, about a 35 minute walk from the Bardo. I wound up spending most of my one afternoon in Savannah dealing w the car instead of playing in the pool w my daughter and seeing the city. Huge disappointment.

Hotel Bardo was lovely. The pool was fantastic and the atrium was magical. Our room was very nice and the bedding and pillows especially comfy.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning pool. Nice feature is they offer free bikes to explore the city. The “complimentary continental breakfast “ is really just coffee and a few small pastries

The pool deck was very slippery, my 3 year old slipped multiple times and hit his head. The coffee pot in the room was ziptied to the stand and there was no power outlet that it could reach so it was useless. The tv would turn on but wouldn’t load to watch basic cable or streaming services.
