Spent 3 nights at Sugar Beach and had an amazing time. Everything was exquisite. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate. It was a shame I couldn’t have stayed longer. Would definitely go back.

Such a beautiful resort. Our room was stunning and spacious. Good food from all 3 restaurants. Good vibes, there was some sort of entertainment every night we were there. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Stunning beachfront hotel, with calm clear waters. Service was generally excellent and the food/drinks were good on the all inclusive plan. Beautiful sunsets!

Outstanding staff and customer service - incredibly attentive and accommodating and always willing to go beyond expectations to make your experience special. Hugely grateful for a wonderful stay. The chefs and food were also absolutely brilliant.

Not only the hotel is beautiful, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. I love it here. I felt like a secret home. I wish I stayed longer.

Loved the design of the hotel. Low level buildings spread out along the beach front. A lot of guests however felt more like a boutique than a large resort. Location on the west coast was ideal for watching the sunset. Lots of birds and fruit bats, on a clear night you can see the stars so clear and bright. The room design was modern and stylish and had everything you need. TV not many English channels. Would have been good to cast iPad but couldn’t get it working. Staff were overall very good and attentive.often asking us if we were happy with everything at the hotel A la carte restaurants were very good however half board credit doesn’t go very far towards bill. Buffet had a good selection however we felt the overall standard could have been better. Would have been good to have a set a la carte menu at the main restaurant at breakfast and dinner. Would also be a benefit to use half board at lunchtime if you wanted to eat out in the evening. Citronella and Buddha beach had very good food and service. The sister hotel, La Pirogue Magenta especially good. Used most of the facilities at the hotel. Gym well equipped and staff all very helpful. Spa also very nice. Massages very good. Used the tennis courts however disappointed at having to pay to rent rackets and balls £10 per session. My partner played golf at both tamirina and ile aux Cerfs. No green fees was great however buggy and golf club rental coming to £100 ish. Entertainment very good.

Nice beach but very disappointing that we couldn’t really swim and bathe in the ocean because there were only 50 cm of depth and so many pieces of coral that you risk cutting yourself if you don’t wear shoes. There were also a lot of seaweed. We ended up swimming in the pool and not at all in the sea. The pool are is nice and there is a nice bar. They play semi loud lounge music the whole time and the pool cleaning system is making disturbing noices all around the pool.if you want a relaxing quit pool there is quiet pool a bit further away from the main pool. There is some vet mice and active people organizing volleyball, pool basketballl, waterpolo etc everyday for free by the pool. Very fun and nice activities. For a small sum one can book the outdoor paddle court and the tennis courts. That was very fun too. The air conditioning sights are spread on a few sights outside the hotelroom buildings and they are very noicy, but you can’t hear them when you close the door to the room. It does take away a bit from the idyllic natural sounds of the tropics when you walk outside though. All in all we thought the hotel was vey nice and worth the visit but the beach was not adequate. Wonderful property with Nicely decorated rooms and common spaces. Service in the main dining room was very slow and unorganized. The Italian restaurant was very good. Bruno made every meal at Citronella Restaurant enjoyable.

Staff were wonderful and location great.

The colonial style of the property has its own appeal if you like that sort of thing. It was quite different from other places. What I appreciated the most was the empowered staff determined and able to please. They put customers first, not the rules and regulations. The lovely walkable beach was also a special delight.
