The staff was very friendly. The rooms where nice but the showers definitely need an upgrade. The breakfast is fantastic but the dinner food not so much. Overall we enjoyed it. It’s a good affordable option.

The place was very clean and you could see people preparing the rooms. But there was an strange smell like moisture in my room and my friend's room. That smell was unpleasant.

Mold and moisture everywhere. No AC in the hallways- yikes Well, I just stayed 2 days in this hotel, located directly at the sea promenade. We had to change the rooms 2x due to massive mold odor anywhere. This is a place to become asthmatic if you stay more than 2 hours in these rooms. Avoid the third floor. It reeks of mold as they are cheap and don’t use ac in the hallways. Especially the third floor is outright disgusting. Their superior rooms aren’t bad but not worth the money at all. You get a coffee maker and at least the air condition. I stayed in room 222 which was more or less satisfactory although no sea view at all. It’s an old, decrepit hotel which caters to locals.
It’s straight out of 1965. Don’t trust any reviews above 2 stars as people in these hotels don’t know better. I stay another couple of days at the Doubletree , much better. If you can afford it, just get a real hotel instead of this shed. Staff was nice but not really helpful. Why should they….they have to deal with these hordes their entire life.

They offered laundry service on the reservation but upon arrival we discovered the laundry service is external and they provide the number but you have to set it up yourself which made it difficult to communicate for someone who does not speak fluent spanish and we had to wait for the pickup of our laundry. this was inconvenient for us.

I really liked that the hotel was in a quiet area near downtown and malecon. What I did not like was that the elevator broke down and we had to take the stairs all the way up to 5th floor more than one time

Over all pretty good, but no room safe or hand towels in room. The bed is kind of small, not as big as a Queen.

I have been a customer of this hotel for 36 years, every time I visit Veracruz. I love the easy walkable distance to shopping dining and see attractions. It is clean, quiet and the staff is friendly. I booked online my reservation and they booked same reservation 3 times, I called the online reservation and the front desk told me that they will try to sell the extra 2 reservations and return the money to me. I guess that never happen, I did not hear from them. I love my visit as always... just was to expense couple paying the price to 3 reservations instead of one.
