I had to check because it was bugs in the room it was so embarrassing with my girl I would like a refund because of the bugs in the room and didn’t stay there

We booked a reservation via Expedia and arrived at 10pm. Upon trying to check-in, we were informed that we would have to wait for someone to arrive at the property to clean a room before we could check-in. As we were waiting for housekeeping, the desk clerk then tells us that we couldn't have the room because his computer was showing that they were overbooked! How are they overbooked 20 minutes AFTER trying to check us in originally? And still could not provide me with a cancellation confirmation showing my refund had been processed! Lesson learned, will not stay here again nor will I use Expedia again. Trying to contact customer service in the midst of the situation was a disaster also -- automated service places me on hold and then tells me to call back at a later time and disconnects. Grrrr.

Easy check in and the attendant was very friendly! It was quiet and we had a good sleep/rest after a long drive. We will stay again.

This location appeared to be family run. We were accommodated on an early check in. Breakfast we decent. The pool was great. Staff were very friendly. Our travel plans, so we did need to check out the night before expected. We had prepaid on expedia, so no refund, but that was a casualty of the mess with flight cancellations and delays.
