Charming, great breakfast, a bit dated and rustic, but an Ann Arbor gem. Close to campus and a short walk to restaurants.

I stayed at a great bed & breakfast. The host Pat was great and the location was perfect. Walking distance from several bars and restaurants.

The property was in a great location. The host was lovely and we really enjoyed the breakfast. She goes out of her way to please her guests. We stayed in the loft which was quaint but we could hear the traffic somewhat. Also, access to the loft is via a rod iron circular staircase. We were fine using it, but you need to be in good shape to climb the stairs and carry bags up. Overall a lovely stay.

Being across from the central campus of the University of Michigan is the main reason to stay here. The building itself is somewhat rundown, there’s a lot of noise from passing cars, and breakfast prep made it impossible to sleep in. The decor is eclectic (in a good way!), plus snacks are plentiful.

We had a great time but parking can be a problem. Cramped space and hard to back out without hitting a guardrail directly behind. We came back to the hotel at 11pm and there were no parking spots available. There is no street parking around. We had to have a friend keep our car overnight and drop us off. Would recommend assigning limited spots to rooms rented to help avoid this.

The room was quite old and smelled bad. The host was an old man who didn't explain fully when I checked in. The breakfast was nice though.

The property is located next to the University of Michigan campus, so it was very convenient to everything. The house has a lot of stuff everywhere, which is interesting to some people. We don’t mind the clutter either. However, the dining tables seem have not been wiped for ages, bread crumbs and dust are very visible, which makes you worry about the cleanliness of other things. We had some pastries and eggs for breakfast. The croissants are quite soggy and fruits are questionable as well. The room was very spacious with a dedicated bathroom, but it was very noisy because it was facing the street and the construction was going on next door. Overall, I will give it a 3 or 4 out of 10. If they can clean the tables once in a while, it will be great.

The house itself was billed as "quirky" and it lived up to it's expectations. There was a lot of memorabilia around each room that we always had something to admire. Pat was an excellent, friendly host.

An amazing stay with Pat at her lovely bed and breakfast. Maybe the best place I’ve ever stayed. She was kind and so helpful for getting orientated and feeling welcome in Ann Arbor. The accommodations were great and the common space was cozy and very cute with lots of wonderful art. Highly recommend for your trip to Ann Arbor!

I really liked this place but it’s not for everyone. Common areas are funky with collections of all kinds of interesting stuff. Interesting guests mostly connected with UMich in some way. Breakfast was fine for me, but if you’re looking for a fancy B&B spread, that’s not it. Very helpful and friendly proprietors.

Spacious, comfortable room, but building could use some updates. Very convenient to campus and restaurants.

I really hate to write this, but given that I paid $375 Canadian for this, I feel that I need to inform other travellers. I am also very confused by previous reviews, which are what convinced me to stay at this place. I would say that the owners have given up - our room and the rest of the B&B looked like it hadn't been cleaned in... months? Years? Our towels were used and damp, we had ants, there was a shaggy unclean rug and we found pills on the floor, the screen and windows were filthy. The bathroom wasn't cleaned either with hair and other's people dirt still sitting in the shower. The mattress was very very old and just springs. It was just very dirty and insulting that they charge almost $400 CA for this. What I would want is some of my money back.

I booked here based on favorable reviews. Apparently the reviewers weren't completely honest. If you enjoy staying at your Grandma's house that hasn't been cleaned in 10 years, then this place is for you. The owner is so sweet and so darling, but I don't know when our room or the common areas were last dusted or vacuumed. Although the location was ideal for our purposes, I wouldn't stay here again.
